Hahah apologies to all- a never to be repeated exercise- the correct Herbert will be back soon.

Someone, let's not grass him up so call him Bryan Sunderland, suddenly realised at 1.30 that Darren Herbert's holiday replacement wasn't aware of the switch, so I was pressed into service. We had one CD out of someone's car, Workington had 2 number 4's at one point, someone with no number and all their subs bench weren't numbered on the team sheet.

Then there were 'trialists' and the new stadium name.

Thanks to all in the Press Box for trying their best to keep me right and for sorting the equipment out. They do a good job and keeping track is harder than you'd think. I'm keeping a better CD down there though from now on, just in case.

Could have been worse, mind. There was a visit to the Horsfall, probably 2003 back in the Days of Ronnie (RIP), when the PA guy had been promised a new compilation
CD for the match. It had been duly provided but turned out only to contain one track, as he explained to all and sundry while purchasing his half-time pie and peas (with mint sauce, of course, being in the West Riding). The said track was on auto-repeat in the background on the PA as we heard the re-released 'Are You Ready for Love?' by Elton John for the umpteenth time...
