Re: The 1901 Club
Finally had a clearout. Can't live in the past.
Unfortunately there are no "lookers" around and I am very choosy who resides in the cellar. I am on a break.

What a fantastic success. Well done everyone involved in the promotion and administration of this fund raiser.

Sensational stuff. That means £16k, less any expenses, for materials. Spirit of 1990 must be so excited.

I suspect the club will put it towards the costs of works done this summer on the old West Terrace Jamie. It isn't for the GMV lads.

Definately not for the volunteers this one.Cubbins Paratrooper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 3:36 pm Sensational stuff. That means £16k, less any expenses, for materials. Spirit of 1990 must be so excited.
It's for the club to improve the West terrace
Re: The 1901 Club
Never underestimate the power of Barrow AFC supporters, some have even managed to get people with no affiliation to the club to join up. Even so surpassed my expectations by some way.
Think it’s fantastic that projects are earmarked from the offset, so everyone can clearly see the improvements come to fruition and what their contributions have helped to improved.

Re: The 1901 Club
A lot of this 16k will go towards the Demolition, Concrete Pour, Wall Build and New Catering. But in exchange the club can now generate revenue through this. Only enhancing our ability to compete in future years with other clubs in this league.whitty1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 4:47 pmDefinately not for the volunteers this one.Cubbins Paratrooper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 3:36 pm Sensational stuff. Haha....I’m still excited - and massively pleased for the lads who have put so much work into it Jamie, it’s had such a good response off everyone, quite amazing really.Cubbins Paratrooper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 5:25 pm Okay, I see. We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
