I’m never confident we’re gonna go on and win when we score the first goal. Poor second half.
Didn’t sound like Quigley did much.

Sounds like we're failing to kill games off when we are in the ascendancy, similar to last season.
Popular side since '03.

FT: #wxmafc 2 Barrow 1. Our first win against them here since Halloween 2015. Proverbial game of 2 halves: we could have been buried by half time. We dominated the second, controlled the game perfectly and finally look menacing in attack. Get in there.
This is from one of their fans didn't go so can't comment highlights are on bt tonight at 7.30

Same as some games last year. Good for 45 and let ourselves down second half. Gave away two poor goals. Work in progress.

Even the equaliser 2 mins after HT was deja vu :(

That second half was awful! Our passing was some of the worst I've ever seen (Hird and Taylor the worst culprits). Evatt needs to ask himself what Quigley and Kay contributed to that match too. Only players that really looked up to standard were Angus, Barry, Rooney and Granite - question marks over most of the others, and I'd imagine some changes for Tuesday too.

I was surprised he started with Quigley who looked off the pace pre season where Harrison has looked sharp. Not suggesting that is what cost us the game. Game changed as soon as we conceded early second half. We need to have full 90 minute performances!! First game so not too downhearted but I really did fancy us to get something there today. Tuesday game will come round soon enough.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

It’s all about being clinical in both boxes, we take our chances we go in 3-0 up at HT and it’s a totally different game.
We come out second half and concede so early and so poorly it’s backs against the wall time for 44 minutes after that.
Not a clue what Quigley brings to the table he looks way off this standard and Hird looks poor.
Harrison has to start games for me and IE needs to sign an IE type player cos we look weak at Center half.
Wrexham were no great shakes the win was there for the taking how Angus and Quigley never scored first half is beyond me, if they do it’s game over.
On to Tuesday........

Saying for weeks not strong enough at CH, proved right today, granites not good enough, back up player at best.

Granite was by far the stronger of the two CH’s today Hird looked like he was treading water after 15minutes!!
