Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
Result means more than anything. Great three points to kick start our season. Dixon's handling was superb in the conditions.
Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
Needed a win today regardless of performance. Happy Saturday.
Popular side since '03.

Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
John Rooney is the first scorer
Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
Dyson played excellent when he came on I thought. Would swap him for dior against stockport
Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
Dixon would be man of the match but his kicking was terrible - nearly as bad as Stryjek...
Not a pretty game and the wind and rain didn't help. Shape was a bit of a mess til Harrison went off, but Dyson looks like a very useful option.
Our forwards wasted two or three easy chances, plus the offside goal, but Eastleigh should have equalised minutes before our second.
Still big doubts over certain players/systems, but a much needed confidence boost.

Can’t ask for any more than that coming off the bad result Tuesday night. Good win in tough conditions.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
Josh Kay worked his socks off again,Quigley worked hard and pressed well.Harrison and Dior need to press from the front instead of standing off when not in possession.Too many times today they built easy attacks and made inroads due to not being pressed high up the pitch.
Harrogate pressed and shut us down early on Tuesday and we really do need to do same when playing from deep.
Having said that a good team performance with a lot of togetherness and not one poor performance.Eastleigh a team of moaners and dirty physical louts that got away with far too much.Well done to all.

Yes, well done to bounce back playing mean (not pretty) football. A team picked for the conditions I think. Much better defending. Dixon was solid apart from his kicking which was poor again, but very difficult conditions.
A resolute team performance and a well deserved win

Stryjek our 12th man. Time wasting in the first half so Karma. Much improved performance after Tuesday and a good win
Just say no to VAR
Re: Barrow AFC v Eastleigh FC
to the 600 (take away a few away fans) who dropped off from Tuesday, unlucky you missed a decent win/game

Quite alarming how so many have dropped after only one home game. How do we win them back? Obvious one is win football matches but that’s a huge drop so quickly.
Well done on the win much needed now let’s build on it Tues

Much better today, in tough conditions. Well done. Dior needs to start converting. Missed at least two today . But for wasted chances , we’d be doing very well .
