Hopefully Bury will be saved in the next few hours.
Everyone hopes they will be saved but.....If they are & become a Phoenix club, What level will the FA Insist they start from?
If its near the bottom then surely the costs of doing business at GL will be unforgiving at that level & a Stadium of that size/costs, I'd keep my batteries on charge.

Good luck Bury

Will you feel better when another, solvent, club benefits from the misfortune of a club that is in demise? Somebody, somewhere will benefit. Don't you want it to be YOUR club?

I totally understand that if a club goes bust then other clubs could, and will benefit, that’s just the way it is. My point (as I think others is) is the line off PerthBluebird “nowt better than seeing a club run down to the pits” ...that just sounds so wrong.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Before anyone starts thinking how we could benefit from Bury F.C.' s demise, let's not forget what happened (and what potentially could have happened) in 1999

Imagine the outrage if heaven forbid we were in the same position and other clubs fans had some of these opinions.

Looks like a solution may be found.

If not, perhaps a phoenix club could find a home at FC United...

GMA is a workshop!

You seem to take some strange satisfaction in clubs with proud histories having financial difficulties. All very odd.

Sold for a pound no sympathy obviously not a sensible buyer and the price has been paid.

I know you're probably on the wind-up, but you realise football is more than just business?

To the fans it is and I agree, but look at these buyers how many have links to the area or passion for the clubs they are run as businesses. Football is nt even for the working class man anymore.
