Hard to score when you only have 10 men. I'm sure someone will disagree, but Harrison may as well have stayed at home.

Some poor changes by Evatt didn't help us push for a goal, and woeful defensive mistake for the goal.

Stonewall penalty missed by the ref again, which, if given, could have made it a very different game. That said, it felt like our only hope of a goal second half. Hartlepool did nothing, rode their look and snapped up a gift of a goal. Nothing's changing, and a fifth of the season is gone.

1st half great 2nd half huffed and puffed they were poor team I thought but at the end of the day 7 points out of 27 really is relegation form had high hopes for this season but rapidly going pear shaped

Call me mad, but I'm not losing faith yet. Onto Saturday... We lost six on the bounce last season and coincidentally that ended at Aldershot. Disappointed but still hopeful for the time being.

Each to their own but if we need a bit of luck and get an ugly win as has been said just to get a bit of confidence back.

As other ls have said how did we loose that barrow were the only team playing Hartlepool players went to ground as soon as anyone went near them. Platt looked to improve us at the back one sloppy mistake cost us again . Missed Quigley tonight think he would have got one Harrison does not look like scoring. Wheres Hindle?

It’s s cruel game.

Absolutely battered them first 45, we just didn’t look like a team on a bad run - the total opposite. We played neat passes, nothing was over hit, shooting was on target and we looked very confident. Their keeper spoilt it all by pulling off three, possibly four fantastic saves...nothing we could do about that at all.

Second half we just struggled for whatever reason, rain, slight breeze, two good penalty shouts turned down, tactics or just this HT jinx we seem to be carrying? They probably had that one chance all game but that was all it took....game over. So frustrating.

Hard to take, that. Yes their keeper pulled off some good saves but in the second half we didn't create enough. A tactically effective team would have taken confidence from the fact their keeper kept them in it first half and pushed on in the second, but we don't have that guile.

We are a very good footballing team and it was pleasing to see the likes of Rooney (running the game until he went off), Dyson and Brad Barry all playing exceptional football for this level - again, in the first half. Second half we had glimpses but couldn't find the same space. Takes more than pretty football to go far in this league and I don't think we have the physical or mental attributes required. There were a few players who didn't look interested either which is a shame.

Taylor was brilliant in both halves and was my man of the match. I feel sorry for him especially that he was on the losing team tonight as well as the loyal 1000+ who braved the bad weather.

I don't for one second believe we will be fighting relegation this year, but I believe playoffs is also out of reach. Evatt is still learning and I think he will get it right, but not this season. And not with this team unfortunately. But hopefully with Barrow at some point soon in his career

Real shame Rooney went off, was performing a lot better than he has been until then
Very strange to take Josh Kay off, especially before Byron Harrison. I was delighted when Byron came back but he’s just looking too static for this style of football
We really were spoilt with Norrington Davies last season, couple of quicker wing backs in this system would be a huge advantage. Amount of times the overlap is on but Brough and Barry either won’t or can’t go past
End of the day it’s same old story, dominate the ball but can’t score and then two passes later they lead. We are still not creating many clear cut chances, more long range shots that the keeper had to deal with really

Some half wit said on radio Cumbria on my way home that we need a new keeper. Bizarre.
