Poor . Second half we never looked like scoring. Inevitable mistake and if you can’t score , you can’t win .
Total lack of penetration and when we go behind
it’s pretty much all over. Taylor worked his socks off as usual. Lack of creativity when Rooney went off. Hardcastle struggling. Angus will never score. Platt did well apart from the goal. Hindle can score. Get him in the side before it’s too late. We had a similar spell in October last season. Need to change now.

I couldn't agree more. The pools weren't up to much last night but what they did have was height, which counts for a lot in this league, and a disciplined shape with a little bit of quality that won them the game against all the odds of the run of play. Us, from what I have seen up to now there are a couple of players in that team that would struggle to get a game in a good conference north side. Paying the price now for not bringing in a Centre Back/s at start of season.

the guy was fantastic last year but im sorry Jason Taylor has been woeful this term. is running around really enough?? i lost count of the amount of times last nite a ball went into him and he could have turned but took 2 touches backwards. you can hear other players telling him to turn! he constantly kills momentum in attacks allowing the opposition to get behind the ball

the quality of his passing has been shit aswell.

hes not the only one not producing, and i think we arent far away from giving someone a stuffing but one the looks of things this team looks worse than last years

I thought Taylor played well and dispatched the ball ok.. he fought like hell last night. He might not be as technical as Rooney or as quick as others but he has a good footballing head! So I disagree with what you say, sorry.
I do agree that we will give someone a good hiding soon and then that will hopefully lift the teams confidence and also get the town right back behind them!!
I do think our home games a very flat too.. nothing that would give our team a lift!!
We need something like the "ultras" again, a group that makes good noise! We have seen in the past what a difference a good vocal crowd can do!! The noise for example from them lot last night after they scored was pretty impressive.. we need that kind of passion from us lot.

Absolutely. He at times appeared bewildered and lost at what was happening around him. Standard of officials getting worse in the lower leagues. Is this because officials have been promoted to allow more VAR officials in the premier league. Most decent official I've seen this year is Rebecca Welch

understand what hes there to do, its the speed in which he does it and the amount of times he could of done it but chose to take 3 more touches and then the chance is gone

i think one of our major problems as a whole is the speed of our play, we let teams get back in behind the ball, hence its harder to break them down

good healthy debate on here, i just think hes been poor IMO

Radio C didn't play it before 10pm, said it would be on their morning show. The NWEM usually summarises it the next day.

No question, we are a good side.. just elements that need tweaking and some luck

Think we had a much improved good game and we were very unlucky last night, Platt is a very much needed addition at the back and played very well. only complaint I have is with Byron.... He looks very lazy and uninterested up front, maybe Hindle next or Turner (IF he's still with the club?) As a replacement as he doesn't look like the player he once was.

He was on the bench last night Jim, but when I saw him pre season he looked like little boy lost. Might need a little more time.
