According to a BBC Sport Cumbria tweet, which as usual has no link to a story, Evatt is looking at bringing in some new faces.
Does anyone know more about this?

We have some bad injuries
Taylor Fractured Eye Socket and Cheek Bone - uncertain on how long he will be out for but should be lengthy
Josh Granite Broken Collarbone - 10 weeks expected
Brad Barry - still no clue as to what he has done and when he will return

Ian Evatt is looking at bringing in some cover for them

He remains hopeful that Sam Hird and Dior Angus will be ok for Notts County but again If not it leaves gaps

This is quite strange. Daly was virtually an ever-present until the last 3 matches since when not only was he not in the team but neither was he on the bench! Still a good player according to Solihull fans.

He fell out with Tim Flowers at the start of the season and trouble seems to have flared up again recently. I was very impressed on his previous visits before this season - maybe a little immobile, but would be a good option until the end of the season at least. I suspect he wants a 2-year deal somewhere though, judging by Solihull's statement.

Yes. I think you will be correct re him looking for a reasonably long contract. I noticed that Danny Livesey scored twice for Chester at the weekend. I reckon he would have been an excellent partner for young Platt although I do like the way Hird passes the ball out of defence.

….and frankly not IEs style to go for this type of player especially if tied to another club. Get the impression IE doesn't really like doing month long deals. Neither is he seemingly particularly enthusiastic with "ageing professionals". So anybody over 30 would probably have to be a free agent. Anybody under 30 would probably need to be at least a three month loan and possibly season loan.

However, if you believe the problem is actually in central defence then the most likely solution of a decent young loanee would in fact be quite risky as we already have one of those in Platt. Wouldn't rule out a permanent signing though finances might inhibit this.

Or we might soldier on for a while especially if IE has any faith in Elsdon.

I wasn't suggesting we should, would or could sign him now but was merely thinking if we still had him that they would have made a good combination.

He got offered more money at Salford and it was a lot closer to home for him
