In Byron's defence a lot of the time he's been brought on to see games out rather than to find a vital goal. Dior Angus had a fairly long spell without scoring but who would now deny his importance to the squad? I don't think there's any need to panic just yet given where we are and providing both Angus and Quigley remain fit.

We could manage without Angus as Dyson is a good replacement albeit with different attributes but we'd struggle to score goals if Quigley was injured. We have nobody who would score the goals he does or hold the ball or with the strength that he provides.

Angus pace on the turn and positioning opens up a lot of space for others, including Quigley, to operate.

We don't have another player who makes these selfless runs anywhere near the level Angus does.

Combined with a reasonable level of strength, especially compared to Dyson, means he is very valuable to us.

I agree. We'd cope far more easily without Angus than Quigley. Losing Quigley would be a disaster.

Often when you get fast players in this league a stiff breeze could knock them over.

Angus is excellent at pressing the opposition. Countless times he makes darting runs towards the opposition to put pressure on them, often forcing them to concede possession. I think that's something that often goes unnoticed. He shows excellent desire during a game and has the quality to support it elsewhere.
