"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I'm very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."

M6 closed for 3 weekends in a row.. the diversions will be a nightmare! It’s from 8pm Friday evening they shut

It is one weekend's work with 2 spare in case of poor weather. This has been badly publicised by the Highways Agency and various media outlets from the start.
It will be constant gridlock from Lancaster (Southbound, as people come off early at J34 to "avoid the queue at Galgate") all along the A6 to and through Preston (Northbound as they do the opposite for J32). Unless you REALLY have to travel this weekend I wouldnt bother.
I'm going the long way round via the M65 and A65 rather than crawl through 2+ hours of what should be a 15 min drive.
Back on topic....

3-1... 961.
Re: prediction v fc united sat (trophy)
Alot of people on here thinking FCUM are something they are not! They are in that league for a reason and the numbers of support have been going down. 3-1 win for barrow. Att: 1105 including 71 away fans.

It’s a big game for them. They’ll bring a couple of hundred at the very least. M6 situation doesn’t help.

Re: prediction v fc united sat (trophy)
We owe these a good spanking for our shameful game in the fa cup...
Not as big a thing as they used to be which is a shame as a decent crowd would have been good for the cofffers and also a decent atmosphere.
Not an easy game at all and depends what team IE picks but a winnable game?
More keen on gaining football league than a potentially tiring cup run.
Barrow narrow win with Byron getting his goal at last
2.1
