Re: Our Pitch
Gareth and his team are impressive and well equipped to creating a wonderful playing surface. The pitch is superb especially considering the conditions he has to deal with, so wet at the moment and hardly any growth in the winter. We are lucky to have him. Keep up the good work!!

Did anyone hear Radio Cumbria post-match where James Phillips said that the lights they have at Brunton Park were a donation from Cumbria dibble, after being seized from a cannabis grower. Very resourceful.

Re: Our Pitch
Worth mentioning the help Holker Old Boys stalwart Al Wilson gives, he is often seen helping with the pitch also. I believe he also owns a lot of the machinery we use to look after our pitch as well.

Re: Our Pitch
This rain won't be doing us any favours. Was in really poor condition after Saturdays game.
Only good news is that the forecast is looking good from now until KO.

Re: Our Pitch
Friday 10.30am Pitch Report. After last nights rain, following all the previous rain, pitch is understandably soggy and squelchy underfoot. Still has grass. 2 rain-free days will help it dry-out a little, but it'll still be slippery and will probably cut-up. Likely won't be a quagmire. Just my opinion. Should be OK for Barrow's style of passing and keeping possession. Forecast is another week of dry weather. Next home game in 2 weeks on Feb 1st I think?

Re: Our Pitch
Has had a serious coat of looking at today by all accounts. Top players deserve a tip top pitch and hopefully the weather will allow just that!

Re: Our Pitch
Great work. I’m sure the pitch will be in fine condition again for Torquay game.
I’ve just seen Tranmere's pitch on the telly and that does look a mess.
