A lot of people want to have it both ways.

More control over stand... don't want allocated seats

Want to come into ground 5 mins before kick off... want to get to their position in quick time

People are going to have to adjust to bigger gates and the issues and subsequent control measures that brings

I think these are good problems to address now in preparation for our advancement next year

I think, having identified the flashpoints, especially with access from the Nodding Gate (which is very chaotic), some of the stewards in the tunnel might be better deployed to assist with access at that point and keeping walkways on the Steelworks End clear. There's no danger to the players at that point surely, so I don't understand why so many need to be there.

The stand is just difficult at the moment- nice problem. Was having a joke with an older gent at about 2.10, who appeared to have come in as an advanced party for son and grandkids and employed a had blanket to 'reserve' seats. Was a bit like securing sunbeds! Numbering would be a minefield mid season for a variety of reasons but going forward if we went up would have to happen.

I think the three large aways might need away tickets only stand and ground.

There were big queues at the online ticket turnstile on the popular side, yet the season ticket queue was empty. This was mentioned to Ryan who was at that location and he sorted it out straight away. Well done for that, but I believe you said you needed more scanners. Did these people going in through this turnstile with online tickets that were not scanned actually get counted for in the official attendance

Noticed this myself a few games back... Drinking "Brewdog" at the back of the stand too!

How about maybe as well as the nodding gate have a steward with a scanner stood at the exit gate right next to the entrance to the club and allow supporters with season tickets and pre paid tickets to go in through that way

Scanner wasn't even working on nodding gate, I just got let in with no check done just had my phone in my hsnd ready,
Didn't help there was only one person working on it as well

Think the club need to start employing and paying more staff

When he scanned my ticket the scanner went red which in my experience of using them means a ticket has already been used or similar. Seemed to be doing the same for others as well but he was just letting people through anyway

Fair point but at this stage of the season you can buy a ticket but that doesn't specify a particular seat. There are still also some season ticket seats there with names on from last season but they haven't bought a season ticket this year, which causes confusion.

My original point was that if the stand is sold out for the rest of the games (which it could well be) it requires very vigilant scrutiny of tickets as people enter the stand, which doesn't always happen.

If that isn't done there could be a problem, but I think Ryan and the club are now aware so let's leave them to sort it.

P.S. Whoever takes the extra £3.00 if someone wishes to transfer to the stand should also be told if it's sold out.

I bought a half season ticket but because they aren't a printed book and just online tickets I have to wait in the online queue instead of going straight through the season ticket turnstile. I'm not particularly bothered as it's a good sign of people coming to games. But the reason I bought the season ticket was for the ease of access.

So if I want a particular seat for the next home game I can go the office and book it. Fair enough but surely someone then has to print a large label to stick on the seat and then go and put it on for that one game. Is that the best use of the club's staff?

Don't think it works like that. If you are a stand season ticket holder then you can pay an extra £25 on renewal to reserve a specific seat for the season.They are the stickers you see on the seats. Reserved 19/20 with the person's name.
