Watching Tranmere v a team from Manchester, pitch looks terrible. Do they have an egg-chasing team playing on it?

Liverpool ladies :) with the round ball. However, it shows that Gareth's ( + team ) hard work on our pitch is paying off. For the time of year it really has stood the test. Apparently Dover's pitch is in a poor state which won't suit our playing style in the match to come.

Anyone know how the pitch is looking after the renovation work? Weather hasn't exactly been great for growth.

In decent order considering. Sanded/fed goalmouths.

Genuinely have no idea if any more work can be done at this stage of the year to make much difference to the pitch but if it can the board should fund whatever it takes.......

As the old saying goes the pitch is the same for both sides! ;)

Why didn't we water our pitch prior to KO? It would suit our passing style & be a big advantage to us..

Gareth reckoned in 2 weeks it will be fine, seed will have germinated and sand washed in - they end up lifting some grass to do the work they had to do, they knew it would be like this today. Walking on it, it was surprising how firm it had become since last week
