If...we carry on the way we're going it could conceivably be all-ticket the last few games. I do hope 'The Club' are aware of this and have plans in hand to limit the online customers and ensure the shareholders/trust members are guaranteed a ticket to what could well be some of the most important games ever to be played at Holker Street. Just a thought/dream like.

Presumably this is half the reason all games are already available to buy online; no-one can complain if a game sold out that they didn’t get a ticket when you’ve been able to purchase for months

Presumably also available by personal visit to the Office on Wilkie Road for those few who still don't use the Internet?

If I want to buy a railway ticket I have a lot of options- I can buy it online or I can go to the station and buy in advance or on the day. This is called choice. Not everybody wants to or can buy tickets online so why the club can’t sell tickets as well as online I don’t know. Notts County managed to send tickets to Barrow for their home game earlier this season so it can’t be that difficult. More profitable for the club as well

Tickets are available at reception through the week via cash or card payments, though supporters would simply get a printed e-ticket. Admittedly, not everyone is fully trained up on taking cash payments via the system yet but they will be by the end of the week.

Our ticket system also allows us to have a postage option when you buy online. I’ve had it turned off as we got going, but I’ve now set that up for the rest of the season as a further option:

It's not going to affect me personally but 'The Club' did state that anyone purchasing shares would be given preference, after season-ticket-holders, in the event of an all-ticket match. The thinking at the time was probably with the FA cup in mind and however far-fetched it seemed a possible home 3rd round tie against a Premier-League side.
Point being there will undoubtedly be someone, somewhere who invested their hard-earned in the club's hour of need, don't read this forum and aren't aware of the fact that it is now first-come-first-served.

I think things are going so well at the moment that the club are literally learning on the job! All in all i think things are pretty good re: tickets and online/offline options. I'll never forget nearly missing out on FA cup tickets to the Oldham replay because we couldn't get to the shop in time after school from Millom! What an age when we can buy all remaining home games online from 50+ miles away
The engagement with fans on here and social media and response to ideas/criticism is great. I don't think anyone foresaw possible sellouts at the start of the season, even the club, so I'm willing to cut them some slack with small teething problems. Nicer problems to have.

As a remarkable season unfolds, we have a nice problem on their hands – huge crowds!

The Bluebirds fantastic form sees us top of the National League, with the Barrovian public coming out in force to support the lads. Over 3000 people have packed into Holker Street on a number of occasions this season, with even bigger crowds expected in the coming weeks.

Attendances at the Progression Solicitors Stadium have totaled 27,925 so far this season, over 800 more than our total combined league attendances in 2017/18 – and that is with 8 games still to go! Perhaps even more impressive is that we have already sold more tickets for our final day clash with Woking than we did in total for the lowest league gate that season.

As we prepare for some bumper crowds in the crucial title run in, some initial steps have been taken which supporters should be aware of:

– Main Stand tickets can no longer be used at the ‘Nodding Gate’. Entry for anyone with a Main Stand ticket is only via turnstile C or D on Wilkie Road.

– With sold out corporate hospitality suites for the rest of the season, a section of seats have been reserved for these guests, with the seats clearly labelled. We kindly ask that you do not sit in these seats if you are not a hospitality guest.

*Please note that main stand tickets will still be sold at the turnstiles and at the ticket office in the Cross Bar building*

It is likely that some games will become all ticket before the season is over, but we will communicate this as and when decisions are made.

Tickets for all remaining home games are on sale now at barrowafc.com, with some sell-out crowds expected before the end of the season. The Bluebirds highly recommend that supporters buy online to avoid disappointment, particularly if you wish to sit down.

If games were made all ticket, how would we stand with the under 12's offer? I have all the remaining home games but the lad doesn't receive a ticket until we turn up at the turnstile on the day. If games sell out surely they can't then hand out extra tickets on the gate?
May just purchase him under 16 tickets just in case.

Anyone can buy a home ticket right now. That’s what the club wants people to do. They want sell outs. Why would you want to limit online tickets? I got my Woking ticket two weeks ago.

Me too, got my online tickets for the remaining games, I realise that some may not be able to pay up front for the remaining games.

Will there be vigilant checking of tickets for people wanting to get into the stand, particularly after half time?

I have bought stand tickets for all the remaining home games, and I would hate not to be able to sit down because freeloaders are in the seats.

To reply to a couple of the latest points:

Main Stand Ticket Checks:

The stewards on the stand have been advised to check tickets every time and will be reminded again tomorrow.

With entry to the stand now only via turnstiles C & D, we will be introducing a barrier on the flattened west terrace, with a designated person checking every ticket so only those with a main stand ticket can pass from the terraced area to the stand. Someone will also be placed at the bottom of the stairs at the away end of the stand, no barrier is really needed there as the location of the wall lends itself to ticket checking!

This won't be in place tomorrow but should hopefully be sorted for the Dagenham game.

Scanners:

We do have bespoke scanners from the ticketing company but we have had issues with them and being honest, don't have enough to deal with the number we are now selling. I've had discussions with them this week and we think we have worked out what the issues are, we will also be leasing at least 3 more of them too.

Under 12 tickets:

A very good point and one that has been considered. The main reason we only have them available on the day is to stop people buying them online and using them for non U12's at the online ticket gates, which are under a bit of pressure at the moment for reasons listed above.

When we have more scanners and are able to open more online ticket gates, the pressure on the operators will be much lower, allowing more time to thoroughly check tickets and ensure no Under 12's were being used incorrectly. This will obviously also further tighten up on any U21/U18 tickets that may be used incorrectly. That being the case, we would be comfortable having Under 12 tickets available online and they would be made available in plenty of time ahead of any possible sell out.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I sympathise with your problems, but in a way they are nice problems to have and the measures you are taking will no doubt bear fruit.

Fans tend to concentrate on the team, which is natural, but there are a load of people working hard behind the scenes, making a massive difference to the way this club is making progress.
