Jumping the gun a bit, but Pretty sure we could organise a protest outside the national league HQ In Birmingham if this happened

If that’s the case we are in a great position being top, the EFL are a team short, so you just never know.

They will still need to backfill a position in the FL.

Makes more sense to finish this season later whenever that may be and then just shorten the next one.

Who is doing the talking though - it’s just the general public/fans who are concerned about the situation - the authorities have said nothing because at this stage there is nothing to say - if matches resume in the first week of April (unlikely I know) then it’s all academic as the season will finish maybe a week or 2 late

If the break is extended then these sort of issues become more relevant but I suspect (and it is just a guess ) that uefa making a decision on Euro 2020 will be the key

If the season was cancelled then I suspect the next one would be delayed massively as dozens of clubs and players would consider legal action if they felt they had lost out somehow

Personally I reckon the season will be completed in the summer and Euro 2020 will become Euro 2021 and the 2020/21season will start late with no winter break in Feb 2021

But in the end whatever happens is less Important than peoples health at this stage - in the end sport will get sorted out and some stage and some people will be happy and some won’t

I don't know how this season can be completed if games are off now and the peak is still 10-14 weeks away.

If we do get promoted without fulfilling the fixtures it will always be controversial.
How sad if a glorious season of great football ends like this. No matter what the outcome we will or would have been worthy champions.

Would be a bit or karma though the way we ended up dropping out the league on a serious note we have been top for a long time its not as if we have only just got there so surely would not be too controversial to put us up we are 1 game away from playing the number of games a premier side plays

The peak is 10-14 weeks away Mike. The list of cancelled events is growing by the hour, I doubt we will see any National League games beyond today’s fixtures. Even if it is resumed in June, how do you keep players match fit, all momentum is gone. It would be very difficult to pick it up again in June.

Think it will be goodbye to the 2019/20 season.

Whilst I hope it doesn’t happen - why does it matter what other fans think ?
