Re: Corona
Think a lot of people on here could do with seeing the tweet by Jurgen Klopp. An intelligent response to the present situation. Pity he is not Prime Minister.

Re: Corona
Wonder if anyone from the club has been in touch with the national league to ask the question very informally about if they have any idea what will happen if season gets cancelled

Re: Corona
Now I hate this shit to be honest, so far I have lost a trip to Rome, yet no time off work (as yet) and two games we would, should of won, I think it'll get worse in coming weeks, but my main worry is for the old with underlying issues, I am going to keep the faith and not stop working myself, I like our government and they seem to be on it, (that's only my opinion) China
is easing off and I have the belief again only my own opinion, its man maid and population control, ruff ride ahead though x

We would be hoping the EFL invite the top placed team to be the 92nd football league club.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 8:17 am Wonder if anyone from the club has been in touch with the national league to ask the question very informally about if they have any idea what will happen if season gets cancelled

Re: Corona
To be fair the premier league & the Elf have suspended all games it's only the National League who haven't, you can't just make knee jerk decisions there has to be a planned end to all this and at the end of the day decisions will be made which we might like / not like !olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 10:31 am A lot of people are looking for a lot of answers! Re: Corona
From my local paper (sorry if mentioned elsewhere):
The National League has convened a special meeting today at which it is expected to fall in line with the Premier League and EFL and ban all matches. Hartlepool, Darlington and Spennymoor Town were all involved in non-league games at the weekend.
Also reported that the Premier League and EFL are meeting on Thursday to decide what to do with the rest of the season.

Re: Corona
After that press conference surely the national league won’t be playing tomorrow?
Re: Corona
I guess now that “emergency services will not support mass gatherings” will mean they’ll have to suspendHenneysKnee wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 5:06 pm After that press conference surely the national league won’t be playing tomorrow?

Re: Corona
For the people who earlier maintained they would 'carry on as normal' and that the people who were very concerned about the developing situation 'should get a grip'...is there any change in your opinion? I mean, there aren't a few deaths a week in the local area yet, so maybe they haven't changed at all?

Because the vast majority of the world are still genuinely oblivious/ignorant to this horrific [SwearFilter] monstrosity, evil [SwearFilter] thing, YOU will be responsible and complicit in killing people if you touch things. It's that simple and that stark. A pole on a bus, for example.
ATMs..... Clean your [SwearFilter] hands properly. And lie low.
