They are asking clubs to make suggestions - the league board will make the final decision based on what they think

he didn't want to commit, get peoples hopes up and possibly look stupid later - he's not sure if it will be a voided season (at least 2 chairman had said they wanted that) or done on PPG - the league board will ultimately decide that - and they will surely go PPG - if only for the fact that that would give a way to choose additional promotion places if any EFL clubs didn't get through this crisis.

Voiding a season is ridiculous as it throws away every bit of time, effort and money that has gone into it. There's only a few games to go so best way is to go PPG. Trouble is there are so many vested interests - including our own!

The guy said he felt Liverpool could be awarded the title but not Barrow. What a crock; the facts remain that we don't know what would have happened in the last few games for both clubs. So possibly the makings of another popularity contest.

If the NL and the EFL are decided by current positions or PPG then more than 1 National League team will be promoted and Barrow will be one of those.

IF it's between us and Harrogate there's no contest...

It's the NL board not the clubs who will decide - there is no club vote.

If that was the case and it's their independent decision then why seek what the club's think wouldn't that be irrelevant?

Time will tell but I agree with this. The only real obstacle is clubs who don't like us, or are jealous, and they might try to persuade the Nl to stop any promotion. As RA says we can go up by promotion from the NL to L2, where there is a vacancy (2 if Stevenage are relegated), or we (for that matter any club) can be invited in the EFL. Either way it would be cruel and wrong to deny us and personally I don't think it will happen. A difficulty for EFL is what they decide re promotion from 2, and promotion and relegation re L1 and The Championship.They may look to parity, and if that means voided seasons, it won't help us, but I constantly see the Bury factor as a long stop.

Exactly. Whatever happens it is 99.9% certain the EFL will replace Bury and if the NL season is voided who could they invite other than Barrow? If 2 teams are needed it will be Barrow plus 1 other.
