Danny Hunter is a very passionate owner. Lets face it he is the only reason that Borehamwood are where they are. He has a different perspective on the situation to most of us but he clearly loves his club, a sentiment that we can all share. I have seldom seen such a powerful demolition of his governing association's lack of collective governance or leadership. This reflects much of what has been suggested in this thread. I could've picked several quotes out of that statement. The one I find most compelling is this one.

So, let the National League continue with their “non-decision” letters that are nothing more a politician’s dodge and let them get on with the fantasy island conference calls and zoom meetings, as they pretend and try to convince us that we are a big part of the professional game and the wider football family.

He does make it sound like a firm decision on the outcome of this issue is for the National League still some way off.

Seems to be making out he's a financial expert and then in the next paragraph says how he stupidly wasted £125k on extending contracts.

Surely the best way forward would be to conclude all the fixtures of this season when the all-clear is sounded whenever that may be. If some clubs have ceased to be, so be it, nobody has any control over the current circumstances unfortunately. Funny how the FA are waiting for the PL to tell them how its going to be; when the FA are the internationally recognised governing body? Innit game old funny?

Me neither. But if he is still serious about pitching for it, it keeps the requirement for at least one addition to L2 very much alive.

Sky and BT wont be interested in a product without relegation. The battle for european places will only really interest supporters of the clubs directly involved. Not enough to make it worthwhile. Forget protecting the NHS - this is all about the TV money.
