Not a chance for ages and ages. Those that are promenading thinking it’s all over because of lockdown relaxation will inevitably cause a spike. The conceited view of NorthernSoul is what we are up against, suggesting not a problem for him, only old fogies. He might be strong enough for it not to bring him down, but what about him (and hundreds of thousands like him) infecting other, maybe more vulnerable others? A spike and more lockdown will follow. Utter crap about bringing in the military in, is just that - total crap. Around the whole world where has that happened. Nice to finally hear something from the National League

Can understand not wanting to start in August but bearing in mind EFL won’t finish till end of July anyway should be ok to start in September with some form of crowd allowed, whether that’s 25% of capacity or whatever (then people themselves can decide whether they want to attend)

I don't know. Evidence is emerging that the chance of catching it from someone outside, particuarlly if you keep 2m from them, is pretty low. At National League - and indeed League Two - most grounds have some areas of terracing which is either uncovered or what estate agents would euphamistically call "very well ventilated". These are very low risk spaces.

If all grounds were to open at something like 25% capacity, with very enclosed areas of grounds shut, then some fans could be allowed in. This might not for most clubs be enough to fully recoup running costs (at Barrow it would be around 1250 for example), but it would significantly cut losses to levels which might then be managable with cuts in expenditure and continued support from the FA.

My own opinion is fans at our level will be allowed back earlier than the top leagues , lower attendances big spaces etc

Very True - I can't think there will be any distinction on that point between EFL and NL clubs : surely, the majority of EFL 2 clubs with possibly a few exceptions, could not financially afford to kick off without crowds in attendance, so, the EFL asking the NL will you be up and running next year - yes if there are crowds and not until that point: but the majority EFL clubs must be in the same position, and if so and they kick off behind closed doors there is going to be an implosion sooner rather than later , unless someone is going to finance it all - which I would have thought is highly unlikely. I expect that the £1m for being in the EFL , as opposed to the £80k for being in the NL , will not make much difference as the majority of the £1m will be committed already.

Well, IF, this happens then it would be the same system that we’ve always used, 1250 tickets go on sale, first come first served (-season ticket holders). The club could probably stream the match as well

Apparently the EFL forgot to send out the voting papers after yesterdays deadline passed. EFL regulations state the vote has to allow 5 days for return of ballot papers. So 8th June now becomes 9th June.

It would be dreadful. Creates a bad feeling from those that can't get a ticket and presumably everyone would be made to stand apart from each other too? Awful.
