I don’t think there will be a decision today.
Clubs aren’t due to get their ballot papers till this afternoon
And the north south playoff anguish is starting to create a stir - nothing till Monday

It’s this or nothing
Ian Dennis says null and void would be the next option put forward - but if that also received a no vote, what then?

Just seen that York have put forward a proposal to promote the top 2 (obviously) and National League Board are to consider it. Why was this not discussed yesterday????

I doubt that will make much difference, as only York themselves and one club from NLS would benefit.

It will depend how much the National League clubs concern themselves with the NLN/NLS play-off issue. If they don't then I can easily see 17 of them voting in favour of the framework, in which case the 8 votes from down below have no effect. Job done.
It all comes 'round again.

Can someone please clarify whether this amendment would result in additional relegations from the NL or not.

This is the only version I could vote for - something tells me that the NL board won't go for it. We all know the Dover chairman is on the board and is in the pocket of Haythornthwaite, so presumably the others are too.

If not its a non starter and if anything will reinforce the NL vote.

Been a real eye opener how this has all unfolded. There will be time to reflect but there are some changes needed. Even without North and South playoffs I can see no reason as to why the final placings cant be determined on PPG and the top two from North and South promoted and maintain that step 1 \ step 2 promotion \ relegation structure.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.
