If both options are on the voting forms it at least ends null and void off !

There is only one option on the table:

Unweighted PPG
Champions promoted
Play offs
Bottom 3 relegated (National League Only)

But clubs have to pay for the play offs themselves so how on earth a side at Conf North/South can pay for them I’ll never know

Well, Altrincham seem keen, for one. From their website yesterday, after the play-off option was removed -
Any playoffs would have to take place behind closed doors, and with a comprehensive testing regime in place for a number of weeks beforehand. We had estimated the cost of this exercise as being perhaps as much as £50,000. That being said, the Board were unanimous in our position that our brilliant team and our superb fans deserve this shot at promotion; and we strongly committed our support to the motion for playoffs.

Yes thanks Adam. I just hope they've judged the mood correctly.

That’s now likely to change because it looks like play offs are back on the table for Conf North and South

Nobody knows for certain until the voting papers are sent out on Sunday

Deadline has now been moved to Tuesday for votes to be submitted

Should fly through now though. 8 NLN/NLS votes plus the top 8 of the NL, only need 1 more NL club & it’s sorted?

I can assure you Altrincham can afford to pay the costs knowing some people at the club

If the vote on Monday is about trying to keep the structure of two up from the North/South league, then even if your own club is not directly affected by the outcome either way, I cant think of any logical reason why you wouldn't want to vote in favour of maintaining that structure.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Clubs are going to look very silly if they now can’t afford play offs.
After the fuss they’ve made, I’d expect all 8 votes from the North and South plus the top 7 from our league to pass. Fylde owner asked for a vote to be put to club owners, which it looks like he’s going to get. I’ll look forward to reading his views on it!!!

Likes of Maidenhead, Chesterfield, Aldershot and Wrexham likely you vote for It as it guarantees their safety.

3 down from the National League and having play offs in the NLN and NLS is the correct thing to do
The National League board were obviously just hoping clubs would just accept it rather than challenge the blatantly wrong ruling about their leagues not being elite sports
