Well, people have been crying out for another thread. But you should always be careful of what you wish for.

Why would he want to take a step down.. His name will come up for a lot of managerial vacancies at around our level or above but I expect him to complete the job at Barrow to see how far he can take us.

As long as we get promoted he’ll stay. Bolton have been a car crash for a few years now

“The club, for me, can’t get any lower. But it’s a great opportunity for someone to come in and put their mark on it.”

Ummm yes it can, this just shows that classic FL arrogance that you can’t go lower than L2

I wouldn't be too concerned I heard a couple of weeks ago that Hill and Flitcroft were getting the bullet but didn't take too much notice of it tbh but it seems it was true so let's see if the other info contained in the message I got was as well and that was that David Lee is getting the job

Best mates with Haythornthwaite, in with the top brass at Carlisle, feelers out in the boardroom at Bolton - it's almost unbelievable...

Bolton don’t want to pay compensation so I wouldn’t worry too much

Ha Ha Try getting your facts right

I said i know DH ? Which I do he used to be married to a friend of mines daughter.

In with the Top Brass at Carlisle ? You're having a laugh. I've been physically assaulted by a previous owner's goons and been a thorn in the side of the present regime since the day that they took over. It's over 15 years since I was a confidante of the last decent owner the club had.

Feelers out in the Bolton Boardroom ? Actually I said i.d had an e.mail from a Bolton fan One who over the past 3 years that i.ve known him has been spot on with the info he passes on.

There's some on here who need to learn that once your back in the league there are people who will know more about what's going on at your club before you do. In fact, just this afternoon I had an e.mail from the General Manager at a North West based League One club about one of the threads on here.

If you look back over the 100 plus posts I.ve made on here in not one of them have I posted anything on any subject that i.m not up to speed on whether that be North West Lower League Football, Football Grounds or the Coronavirus I get to see about a hundred games a season in both the FL and below something made considerably easier by where I now live which is something you guys will learn very quickly. But if you're wondering what my connection to Barrow is I was born not much more than 20 miles from your ground and followed your exploits for two reasons firstly I remember the time you guys paid Parkside Road a visit one afternoon before a night match and redecorated the ground and the other was that I followed the career of one of your talisman players who I used to tangle with in his days playing at Ulverston in the Kent Valley League where we used to get changed in the stables at the back of a pub.

Evatts class we will do well in league 2 with him. Seen a lot of league 2 games due to where I live. Upon comparison our lads seemed fitter slicker and move the ball a lot better few additions be a tough team to play. Evatts not ready to go yet if we have one or two great seasons in league 2 then rightly so the door will be knocked.
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.

This is just the next thing for everyone to get stressed about.. Big job at Bolton pressure hung sure he could handle it but they would they have the patience - better for him to learn and develop further at Barrow

I was joking mate - I've seen a lot of the nonsense you used to churn out on the Carlisle board. Let's just say I'm as sceptical as all the other Carlisle fans that populate that forum.
