And where does speculative bull shit come into it then? Football ventures business plan was based around the hotel producing an amount of cash each week to fund the football clubs activities or are you trying to deny that? You may well remember that this time last year they made it very clear that if they didn't get the hotel they would pull out of the football club deal.Johnno wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 7:59 pmThis speculative bullshit about us having no money is beginning to wear thin, it's wishful thinking from tiny clubs that are trying to wind us up, it ain't working.philbrownstan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 7:44 pm They'd have to have enough money to get out of the country to do that
The Administrator had 4 better deals to buy the hotel than FV.s offer but as no one else would touch the club without the hotel they had no choice but to do a deal for FV to get them both or the football club would have been history [ or in the hands of Mr Bassini not exactly sure which would be worst ]
Now even before the virus, things weren't exactly going to plan and occupancy and room rates were but a fraction of what they were a couple of years ago and the hotel was struggling to provide the club with any funds whatsoever and then when the hotel closed not only was the hotel not producing the club any cash in line with projections it was running up massive bills that FV are now having to cover money that will have been earmarked for the football club Money that the club clearly won't now be getting.
Now if either of you Horwich boys have any evidence to the contrary I.ll be more than happy to see it My opinion is you.ll be very lucky to get to the end of next season without being back in administration and very probably the National League.
And while we're at it maybe you could tell us how many fans actually turned up for your first game back at The Horwich Stadium after FVs took over the club? and how many times around the shopping centre the queues to get in went? You know with you being such a big club and all that.
