I wouldn't be taking any notice of this clown, spirit. If he is "in the know" it's more than anybody on the Bolton forum as there's nothing been posted of their forum since 18:24 or on the Bolton Newsnow. I expect Ian Evatt will eventually leave if they can scrape the compensation together but this clown won't know any sooner than the rest of us.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 8:57 pmGood, it’s football and it happens, I just hope you paid what was agreed upon when he renewed his contract six months ago.

Re: Ian Evatt
I don't know how many times it has to be said but some of the Bolton fans posting are clearly not legitimate Bolton fans and they should be ignored as they buzz off the attention they get by deceiving you on here.
Re: Ian Evatt
There's a couple of Bolton forums. I've seen comments on one called Wanderers Ways.
Popular side since '03.

This poster who they all appear to regard as some sort of oracle has gone on and said this. But given not a thing from their end so far, especially their local media has been correct, I'll wait for our board.

Re: Ian Evatt
I was looking at the-wanderer and I've now seen the comments on Wanderers Ways. There's a few fools on there who think they can pick up most of our best players for free! It's a bit like reading some of the comments on the Pompey forum after the fall into Division 2. Some think it's so easy to walk through the leagues. Pompey have been getting 18,000 crowds and have a rich owner and still not managed to get past Division 1 in 7 years!

Re: Ian Evatt
Bolton have recently recruited a “Head of Football operations”. To be honest, I’m not sure what these roles are supposed to do that a Manager and his immediate team couldn't do. I would expect any new manager taking up the role will want some clarification there as clearly Bolton will be moving towards youth development.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Re: Ian Evatt
The guy got us promoted a week ago, clubs were always going to come sniffing after what IE has done and as long as this does not get as messy as it could we move on and get to work on finding another, Bright, Young or old manager who wants to carry on what IE has started (so very well) playing football on the ground and attractive play
Football, Bloody hell

Re: Ian Evatt
Stick to facts, he'll be gone next week mate. The lad gave it the sweet talk for 2 years and trys to [SwearFilter] off at every given opportunity. Full of shite, no loyalty in football, wish him nothing but failure in his career from now on.

Re: Ian Evatt
Whatever happens Ian Evatt will go down as a hero and a legend. He has taken us to the promised land and now the baton will be passed to someone else for the chance to become a bigger hero.
For me thank you for everything and if he does go then good luck but whilst in our league not some much luck twice in the season.
Legend totally
