Re: Ian Evatt
If you put the two names into google then the first entry is a headline stating that the Barrow AFC manager won’t rise...

Hopefully we managed to get some of the £50k back from Evatt from his own pocket which we gave him for signing his new contract after Haythornthwaite was sniffing around at xmas

Fair enough, I’m sure we would have wanted to hear from the new man. Anyway he is on soon if you want to hear what he has to say.

Re: Ian Evatt
Just seen a clip of the interview on twitter. Words have consequences look out for a knock on the door.
I wish him well in his life and I'm no moral compass but actions have consequences too.

Re: Ian Evatt
My overriding thought for the day has been - Had all of this not happened or had the Bolton move not for some reason materialised, today we'd be facing up to the likelihood of losing Ian Evatt to Tranmere Rovers with Mellons departure to Dundee United.
There's actually a part of me that thinks he might be spitting feathers about this. The Tranmere job after all is more attractive in the short term than the Wanderers one. I think he would've been very high on their list of possible managers and with a squad that could easily bounce back to League 1. Also I dont think he'd have faced as much adverse scrutiny over joining a club which although relegated is much more stable than the one he's now gone to.
Other than that I'm trying not to think much about Ian Evatt.

Re: Ian Evatt
Absolutely agree that the minority of idiots aiming personal abuse are just that ‘idiots’ and need the police on their case. With the rumours of what happened with fylde and where else he applied for jobs, what he was saying about barrow on the very day he was at Bolton, I’m afraid I can’t trust a word he says. It’s nothing personal but I just don’t. I think he has always been a good orator, but that’s all it was. He doesn’t want it to take a shine over what has been achieved, but of course it does. Would be strange if it didn’t.
