Good luck to him. He had a great season for us last year and deserves the chance to follow a path of his own choosing.

Check out quigleys record before he came to us. He could have also been described non scoring.

Don't be so stupid. We saw Quigley's scoring record for us last season and we've seen Luke James and know he doesn't finish anywhere near as well as Quigley. I'll bet you £50 now that if they both play a full season Quigley will outscore James.

I apologise for the stupid comment which was in fact stupid of me. I'm actually not crying or sulking but I am incredibly disappointed.
I did understand your point re Quigley but his previous record doesn't really matter because it's their current records that count and as we've both seen them play and I believe you played a fair bit of football surely you can see that Quigley is a clinical finisher whereas Luke James although a very hard worker and good runner isn't at the same level in front of goal? However, I shouldn't have said non-scoring but low-scoring would have been more accurate.

We are doomed
What choice have we got other than to move on and get better players that want to be here....the owners are spending a million pounds on the ground..we have a new manager lots of new players and everyone preparing for league football can we save the doom and gloom

and where would the fun in that be.. getting excited by everything happening or enjoy a good moan about a guy who had the season of his career and unlikely to do it again. Goo bit of business done early if he didnt want be here

Where would Barrow be if it wasn’t for Luke James?
It wouldn’t be League Two I can tell you that much, his 7 goals in 17 appearances in that god awful side in 2017/18 kept Barrow in the National League for the start of Evatt’s reign.

Let’s just give the lad a chance Dunn hasn’t even held a training session yet with these players and they’re getting torn apart on here.

As for Rooney, disappointing he’s gone but who’s to say he will be the same player this season? Let’s just concentrate on getting behind the players that will be wearing the shirt this season and not think about those that didn’t want to

Everywhere does undisclosed at times and that includes clubs that have a fan owned element. You can't discuss peoples' contracts. We have someone who sits in the board who has the same oversight, but just like anyone at work folk deserve the terms of their wages etc to be private. And so do businesses

Good business by the club! A player that was undoubtably very good last season and a massive factor to why we ended up where we are now.

Must admit I’m not a massive fan, I think the season before showed what he’s really like when the football isn’t going his way.

However, he’s mainly blowed hot and cold prior to this. A player exiting his peak. Hopefully can be invested back into the squad on another good addition.

Not the end of the world he has been in league 2 before and didn't set it alight spent most his career in non league so can't blame him if stockport offered him more money an closer to home plus a 3 year deal he has to do best for his family good luck John

He had an exceptional season last season no doubt, but it was just that, exceptional. He's mostly flattered to deceive for the rest of his career (which is also what he did in his first season with us) and has flopped around the National League not doing a great deal.

Without Evatt, I think there would have been little to no chance of seeing the same player next season.

A player who played in lower leagues but last season was outstanding possibly due to Evatt .

Very disappointed re Rooney wonder if would have tried league two again if Ian Evatt still here.Never will celebrate promotion with team now some of them gone there separate ways by choice or released.Don’t know this Mick Jones so reserve judgement but a bit underwhelmed with James.Runs around a lot but not a goal scoring machine like quigley

Just remembered read on this forum James was apparently on £850 week at Hartlepool and When on our radar wanted £1600 a week.Sounds a mercenary hope we not paid silly money eitherjust cos people know we got some at moment.
