Gribbin needs to buck his ideas up if he thinks he can cut it at league level, Dunn hammered him several times about admiring passes it’s not u23s football anymore regardless of the club you played for. A certain ex Crystal Palace premiership player completely dominated the game minus his age and Lewis hardcastle was a different level along with Jones. A few of the trialists, considering they were supposed to be making an effort and trying to impress then they’ve got no chance. Nice to see all the back room staff there today without it being announced officially. Only early days and first preseason friendly, comments from the players during the game saying that Evatts fitness levels of his players were high but Dunn’s are the next level.

Look a really strong squad currently, fitness levels must be key at the minute with the weather, but looks like we have good core squad with some hidden tricks up our sleeves, cant wait to get back in.

Gribbin trying to hard to impress or the opposite?

Is the ex Palace player Scannell? Any other names that you know of for the trialists?

First game back and nice to see the posts have started. We played holker old boys everyone of our players should look 100x better ffs if we sign him it’s embarrassing we aren’t a retirement home.

Gribbins first game outside of U23 and first game in months? Get a grip calling him out.

Exactly - very hot day, new formations and trialists who are there obviously to see if they make the cut or not so not all of them will stand out. Under 23 lad whos had injuries etc and will need time to settle in and we lost quite a few friendlies last year but the team won the league!
Im sure the club wont want other clubs knowing who we are looking at in these games esp if they play well. Not sure who ex Palace player is and not bothered how old, if hes good enough in league 2 and does a good job for the team then i don't see the problem really. We could lose at Blackpool and people will moan! These are games to get the team fit, to gel together and see who we need to bring in or let go.

on the photos there's at least 1 person outside the ground leaning on the external wall watching it - unless that's a ball boy there in case the ball goes high and wide.

Re the Blackpool friendly tomorrow, does anyone know how to access it? I did a bit of searching on Google and found a link to their live stream for their friendly against Port Vale last Saturday:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9oGAGEUGDQ

I notice there is a 'Subscribe' button, but it seems to be available free. (it's nearly 5 hours long!)
