Fans Returning to Stadiums
From what I'm reading it still looks like October for when fans can return and in small numbers only if they start with say 15/20% of Capacity so it could be around 800 to 1300 depending on our capacity which im not sure if its 5030 or 6200 so I would like to know who is covering the cost of potential losses of revenue and also who is covering the loss of revenue for the behind closed doors games as im sure I follow wont be enough to cover lost match day revenues im sure we would of been getting between 3k to 4k fans in the ground in normal circumstances

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Who do you think should cover the loss in income?
I dont think we will be in bad position we dont have loads of staff and have a modest ground. Although no doubt lots has been spent on the ground and players, we have had money from players, evatt and increased sales of merchandise and season tickets plus prize money extra sponsorship, tv money etc
Possibly having limited fans will have been factored into projected losses
We are in a much better position than many others

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Maybe the Premier league could help out plus what about the clubs that haven't had a windfall of over 250k plus that money we made would of normally of been used for other things not to cover losses from having no crowds i personally think they shouldn't of been allowed to start the season until crowds of some sort were allowed back in and the clubs could of kept there players an staff on furlough until that scheme ended and just had a shortened season maybe scrapping the efl Cup so more midweek league fixtures could of been played to catch up why have the Scottish leagues decided not to start until October apart from the Scottish Premier id say so that they know fans will be allowed in by then so the clubs can make some money

For our first home game v Stevenage surely the club could invite all the volunteers who have spent endless hours working on making Holker Street ready for the football league, likewise the lads who work for Bridgewater seeing all the photos from the last 3/4 months the amount of work that has gone on is unbelievable, if anyone deserves to be at the first home game then these lads and lasses do well done to you all.

Couldn't agree more. Would be a well-deserved gesture.behind the goals wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 8:36 pm For our first home game v Stevenage surely the club could invite all the volunteers who have spent endless hours working on making Holker Street ready for the football league, likewise the lads who work for Bridgewater seeing all the photos from the last 3/4 months the amount of work that has gone on is unbelievable, if anyone deserves to be at the first home game then these lads and lasses do well done to you all.

The game is behind closed doors you can't have anyone there other than authorised personnel.

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Jesus we know the volunteers do a cracking job but why should a bunch of lads who were payed to work be privileged with AAA?
Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Last i heard was around the 750 area
Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
1000? Might be why they have suspended sales atm until after the next meeting as we don't know what out allowed attendance is going to be but im guessing around 1200 - 1500 depending on what our official max capacity is with ground improvements so it looks very likely if you have a season ticket you'll watch the home games. Think i saw a post about the game on the 10th October is likely to be the the game for fans to return...

What about those who've paid for a Season Ticket?behind the goals wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 8:36 pm For our first home game v Stevenage surely the club could invite all the volunteers who have spent endless hours working on making Holker Street ready for the football league, likewise the lads who work for Bridgewater seeing all the photos from the last 3/4 months the amount of work that has gone on is unbelievable, if anyone deserves to be at the first home game then these lads and lasses do well done to you all.

Might be wrong but I assume they were paid!
I often go into peoples homes in my job, never been invited back to watch match of the day on a Saturday night though.
