Christ when we are allowed fans in no one will turn up as half of Barrow will think the teams shite and under achieving.
Poor start, yes, but let's not shit our pants. Pick up enough points to stay up everything else is a bonus.
Yes as long as we stay up everything is fine I always thought it would be a struggle in league 2 bottom 8 is fine by me and then build on being an established league team

A lot of older supporters have waited 48 years for league football, but after 2 league games looks like the novelty has worn off already for some.

But the aim is you bring in new players to improve the squad, what I've seen so far we haven't done that it's no good getting promoted then not obtaining better players, let's just hope they improve with time.

2 games in.. How do you know the new additions haven't strengthened the squad?

Yes we have but we heard a lot of good talkers Norman Bodell our Manager and part time model being one of them,he brought lots of loan players not good enough and was the start of our demise as well as Len Ashurst who was the Manager of Hartepool and complained about the speedway track after we beat them, plus Herefords cup win.
What I think people are worried about is staying up.
We all know where we are short a midfield player and another striker.
Just wonder if the budgets been spent ,maybe bringing Rob Kelly cost alot.
David Dunn has had opportunity to bring players in,do we have no money ,does he have any connections?
It's took along time to get back and if we continue in this vein it's going to be a hard season.
Older supporters are greatfull ,we look at the demise of Stafford Rangers Kettering etc,.

Where's Jim Bob? Why haven't you brought him in? Is it because Pa Walton has spent too much in the timber yard? And what about that new dress for Elizabeth? Every since we moved into a bigger network I've been worried about how the series is going to go, especially since the director decamped to Little House on the Prairie. We are ten minutes into episode one and I'm very concerned about the direction this show is taking. We may be doomed I tell ye!

Indeed.

48 hours of massive over-reaction.

Some of these comments are unbelievable...two games in, two bloody games!
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

The great thing about this forum is the passion that comes across from users. I'd much rather read a few posts criticising a performance, even if I don't agree with them, rather than no posts at all. It's great to see so many people caring so much about the club. Has anyone looked at the Harrogate fans forum ? I'd like our Yorkshire rivals to do well but they don't seem to have engaged much with the local community, if the number of posts on their fans forum is anything to go by.

Well said. Its a fans forum and we have played 9 games including friendlys the weaknesses have been apparent and nothing done to fix it.
When we were beaten by higher league teams it was said we will not face this quality in league 2.
To be honest we should have drawn two games but for that Hird mistake.
We have a weak squad without Quigley or a decent midfielder.
People will have different views but we all want the same end.
