Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Believe it or not, the Premier League is asking for support from the Government so not much chance of help for EFL clubs from it!

Paul Hornby very sensible as ever; obviously still looking very unlikely but mentioned that they had budgeted that fans wouldn’t be back in till January

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Like many others I’m happy for the club to keep every penny of my Season Ticket regardless of if we get in this season or not, survival during Covid is paramount.
Absolutely gutted it’s panning out this way just hope we can survive a season and we can all get to see the Soccer in a league game for real and not on IFollow.
One day soon hopefully, just doesn’t feel close at all at present mind........

If if we can get an affective test and trace system in place it should be earlier than that. The long incubation period and asymptomatic transmission needs test and trace to reduce infections otherwise people will still be mixing even with the current restrictions. Seems to be working in Germany and they still seem to be rolling out crowds returning to football stadiums.
How does it make you feel to know that you voted for this?

Believe about 600 fans in watching FC Utd last night. No consistency.

On TV last night Sean Dyche said 'Why should the Premiership help out smaller clubs. You wouldn't get it elsewhere in business. A high-flying City financier wouldn't bail out a back-street organisation so why should football be any different'. If thats the attitude of one of the lesser lights in the game what hope is there.russell_anderson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:02 pm Believe it or not, the Premier League is asking for support from the Government so not much chance of help for EFL clubs from it!

It’s not up to the premier league to “bail teams out”
If I was in debt I wouldn’t expect someone I know who is paid more than me to pay off my debts
What needs to happen is for the FA and EFL to sort with the government for a finance package

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Great call by the trust to allow two fan reps to attend games on rotation basis via draw.
Fingers crossed as I need a footie fix

Great idea from the trust; may even persuade a few more to join up!

We (trust board members) thought it was the fairest way.
Glad some will get the chance to see it fingers crossed we all do at some point this season.

Re: Fans Returning to Stadiums
Great idea & obviously numbers had to be restricted but why can’t we have 5 or 6 fans, Tiny numbers but treble the chance of being selected might just temp more to sign up to the Trust, Just asking?barrowfan_chris wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:22 pm We (trust board members) thought it was the fairest way.
