Re: New Signings Rumours
Attacking midfielder and striker asap big time
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.
Re: New Signings Rumours
Personally never my choice as Manager but he is here.
Does not seem to have Football connections .
If you think that it's up to you.
He cannot just sit back ,the problem has been glaring obvious from pre season and he has done nothing to address the situation.

Don't disagree with you in the issues with his approach. Just don't want manager sacked this early in the season. Needs a lot more time than 4 league games.

Re: New Signings Rumours
I have an old wireless that I got for my 21st birthday which is equipped with the medium wave. It only works in the outside toilet these days as the battery is weak and they don’t make that size anymore. The reception fades in and out a bit and can shift about too; you might be listening to the shipping forecast next thing there is some bloke speaking French.
I was out there trying to stay tuned today when later in the broadcast Adam was asking DD if there was another striker coming to the club, before DD answered, reception ‘went’ and a dreadful song took over the airwaves the repetitive chorus of which was ‘What’s that coming over the hill is it a monster?’. And that my friends is what you call an omen. Stay tuned.

We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
Re: New Signings Rumours
Apparently Chris Taylor has signed for us.... no word where this has come from.
Re: New Signings Rumours
We had a worst start last season and I know people are in the market for a midfielder and striker .JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 6:02 pmDon't disagree with you in the issues with his approach. I just want it addressed we've waited too long to get back here.
Re: New Signings Rumours

Re: New Signings Rumours
Yes just watched a hour interview where he did not realise playing that game stopped him signing full time for Bradford.Seemed to be appreciative that we were helping him to keep fit while looking for a club

Re: New Signings Rumours
Really hope we're not getting another 33 year old but it's possible as he's played for Oldham twice so David Dunn might know him. You can see Mike Jones has been a good player but he's desperately slow and with him and a 33 year old poor Lewis Hardcastle will be running himself silly every week.

Re: New Signings Rumours
And baying for blood from the manager won't help. He's still building this squad and we've had to chop and change lineups frequently.Pedro wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 7:27 pmWe had a worst start last season and I know people are in the market for a midfielder and striker .JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 6:02 pm

The squad we have don't have a huge amount of League 2 or EFL experience so it's a big learning curve for everyone. Let's just ride it out.
Re: New Signings Rumours
Totally agree but the midfield position and a forward has not been addressed and that's been apparent over a number of weeks it's not just happend.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:28 pmAnd baying for blood from the manager won't help. Re: New Signings Rumours
Applications for the job of Barrow AFC Manager after 4 games to all the miserable, doom merchants, given up already usual smart arses with all the answers to,
Holker Street, Wilkie Road.
It was only a couple of months back when we were shouting from the roof tops, flying our flags from gardens, windows etc. You are supposed to be the same fans. Shame on you. Think of what has been achieved by our young team and our incredible board. And never forget all the fans that have worked their socks off to get the club and our ground to the wonderful position it is today
We are all BARROW are'nt we.
