Very odd. Was quite excited to see him play too. Maybe personal reasons?

I thought he was injured.
Don't let the old man in.

Probably reading too much in to it but there seems to be a few instances where players are out of the picture for a while for unknown reasons or assumed injured. Sure platt, brough, Barry, burns have all disappeared for a bit, and the assistant manager appointment.
Reminds me more of the Daz and Dave regime than recent times.

It’s because DD does not comment on players injured and when asked the question about them returning his stock answer is “ we will have to wait and see” He plays the straight bat to questions and plays his cards close to his chest. He has every right as manager to do this and you have to respect that.
What I will say is the clubs reason for Bobby Burns going on loan does not tally with Bobby tweeting about ankle ligament injury a few weeks ago and now saying he has had a number of off field issues. Both need to be singing from the same hymn sheet when making statements otherwise it leads to more and more speculation and rumour

He went off injured didn't he so that’s right then I imagine his off the pitch personal issues were probably home sickness As he’s a young lad, Some hack it others don’t, Not everything is a conspiracy theory & sometimes things just don’t fit.
