Vs Leeds under 21s

Post by LCBAFC40 » Mon Oct 05, 2020 6:58 pm

Obviously a completely different side playing tonight apart from Brown. Few new lads in so lets see what they can do and whos up for a fight for a shirt on Saturday!
Can imagine Leeds will be a tough opponent tonight but i think a win is on the cards....

So tough that Accrington beat them 7-0!

I thought I’d read somewhere that Leeds played a very young team that night & will play a much stronger one tonight to avoid another shoeing...I could be wrong

Apparently the side against Accrington was very much the younger end of the trainees. (Beat me MMW!)

May not be so tonight. Dunn hoping for a stiff test from the more experienced U-21s.

Match coverage: iFollow, Freeview 721 and BBCRC Medium Wave frequencies from 19:40.

Shame. An easy victory would be nice as the win money would be handy.

Can understand why he’s done it but I’d have given Quigley and Angus an hour tonight; try and get on the scoresheet and get their confidence up

Fully agree and Quigley needs the game to get up to speed with league football.

Agree. I'd like to see us get and hold a lead for once. Not very long ago £10k would not be a sum that could be sniffed at and would merit more than just any eleven players that had brought their boots and didn't play on Saturday.

A sign of changing times perhaps. But maybe also an erosion of core values too.

A different way of looking at it is bring them on with 20 mins to go Vs a tiring outfit & see if they nab a goal, Quiggs will score regardless of if he plays a game tonight or not, Hopefully the fringe forwards get off the mark tonight then subbed out.

Come on lads really go for this and get this elusive WIN

I was debating about whether to watch tonight but then I thought good job everybody doesn't think that way during the current Covid crisis. So I've gone for the IFollow viewing option and I'm hoping the club will be adding £10,000 to the £10 I've thrown into the mix. Unfortunately I've had to turn the commentary off, it's about two seconds out of sync

Another game; another mistake leading to a goal.
