Great result tonight.Whatever David Dunn said tonight at half time worked as they were a different side in the second half. I am hoping we have finally found the right player combination and our goalie was magnificent throughout the game even stopping penalties in the shootout. For me he was the man of the match.Lets hope it,s onwards and upwards and can do it on Saturday against Leyton Orient. Come on the Bluebirds .

Good workout for our fringe players and a decent game to watch. The young Leeds team played some neat football but clearly tired as the game went on. Kay was the outstanding player by some distance, quality performance.

Zouma looked promising and can hopefully fill in while James Jones is out, however long that may be for.

TBF to Gribben, He claimed the assist for Taylors headed goal & scored one himself which was a very cheeky finish & unlucky to be ruled out as I thought it was on the byline not over it before he skillfully slotted it home.

He has an eye for quality passes etc & hopefully he can kick on from here.

J Taylor had a solid game & Brough got another 45 mins under his belt after his layoff & the 3 debut lads all did well enough with Zouma being the pick of the trio.

We have found our penalty taker in Dior so that should help his goal tally & confidence.

This Saturdays game v Orient should see our strongest starting 11 to date & AJ said Leeds are looking to loan out several of their starlets & if we can persuade them to loan us Stuijk or Shackleton as both players are quality players who link up the play & are exactly what we need IMHO.

Well done tonight lads, Onwards & upwards.

Our Goalie did great tonight but lets not get carried away, there's zero chance double DD's dropping Dixon just because his backup had a good night & Dixon is in fine form himself.

Have a day off, it's a great chance for the fringe players to get a run out, can't see the competition being a priority, no need to be so negative after a handful of games

Superb display by Josh Kay who stood out like a sore thumb in the team. Barry also played well and Angus for all his faults looked so much better than Hindle and James who may as well not have been on the field for the trouble they were to the Leeds defence. Until the Leeds youngsters tired we were totally outplayed in midfield and when they ran at us it was like a knife going through butter. 2 brilliant saves stopped us being 4-0 down and game over. Completely agree with John Goodwin when he said that other than Josh Kay none of the players other than goalkeeper pushed a claim for a first team place. Kay's performance made it certain he will be picked although he should have been a certainty in any case. The goalkeeper's performance means we have a decent backup for Joel Dixon. There wasn't any other performance that stood out.

Help me out here. Daft question it may be.
If we draw 2-2 and get 5K for drawing. Table shows 1 point won also
Then why do we take penalties ?

Table is updated now. We got a point for the first draw (lost on penalties) and then 2 points for last nights draw (win on penalties). We're on 3points now

Good post match interview from dunnie, telling them how it is at half time, how it’s tough being a footballer “if the Leeds lads don’t make it they’ll be down the pyramid and after your jobs someday”

I think James suffers when he's paired with Hindle. Hindles lack of movement makes it hard for James to find some space. He was a much better player when Angus was dragging players out of position to give him some wriggle room.

I`ve no doubt James always gives 100% and seems dedicated to the club and he`s an intelligent footballer but just seems to lack the build/ physique to actually make his mark at League 2 level, good to bring on for maybe 20 minutes but is never going to be a 90 minute player for me and before anyone say`s anything I said as soon as we signed him it was a mistake.

Accrington beat Blackpool on pens in the other match so we're 2nd on goals scored. If we beat Accrington we go through.
