He was originally a number 10 but Evatt moved him to the wing

Not ideal but the cupboard is bare. Kay has pace, skill and can beat a man which is more than any of the alternatives other than Quigley. Angus has one of those attributes which is pace but otherwise I don't think we have a striker other than Quigley who has any of them!

Hi all, just read on the Alty forum that James Jones has sprained ligaments. There were fears that he'd broken his leg so thank goodness it's not as bad as first feared. I'd guess 3-4 weeks ? Here's hoping he's back soon, and ready to help you progress.

So now we know via another club how our own injured players are doing? Great stuff.

I haven't seen a single useful update on any of our injured players from our own club so far.

Which is what I've been saying less communication than last year and we have a media manager!

Agree and in addition we have about 10 players and staff on contracts of unspecified length.
Good news on the injury though, if correct.

Don't know how accurate this is but, at least, it's something!

going off Scott Quigley who isn't still suspended and Patrick Brough who signed a new 2 year deal so isn't out of contract next year i'd not go too much by that.

The excuse about putting his legs up to stop Jones falling on him was bull shit - he wasn't falling until Hayden kicked out! He didn't really connect with Jones, but he probably caused his injury.

Surprising. Would be interested to know the logic behind the overturning of the card.

While Jones was toppling, Hayden certainly looked to be kicking up with both feet when watched on tv. Must look again.
