And how is Luke James getting criticism from some, yet those same people are saying nothing about Angus' non-contribution to the season. Barry was woeful today too - the 'old' players have been equally as bad as the new.

You seem to disregard the fact that we played against 10 men for 82 mins! If we can't beat 10 men and lose when playing against 10 men for 30 mins last week, it doesn't auger very well. At the moment we are as bad as any team in the league. I'm expecting things to get better when some of our better players return. I agree that James was better than Angus but that's not saying very much. Disagree completely about Barry. The only time we looked to have any danger were when Kay and Barry got to the byeline a few times. Neither were great but our "old" players are far superior to most of the new players brought in.

I was frustrated after the game but the Dunn radio interview has me worried. As others have stated he's mentioned that we are struggling with the step up despite 5 of the outfield players being his signings and there being no noteable improvement in quality in his signings. One question asked about the game and all the rest about new players, reminscient of the Cox interviews when we just signed player after player. Would like to see Adam ask more questions about the game, what went wrong and how he's going to correct it, the answer can't always be sign 2 more players.

Support isn't blindly praising the team no matter what Mark. If it's rubbish then people have every right to say so, and that was.

I support the club as a whole, in many ways and not just the players on the pitch. That doesn't stretch to pretending we're not serving up shite when we are.

Agree Kieron but some of these were moaning before a ball was kicked in the league. It wasn’t good but not going to jump on backs when we haven’t even got a full strength side on the pitch! It’s just not my style bud.

don't forget last week Dunn said these are good players and they will get better as the season progresses so why his he suddenly changing track ?

I don't believe he is confident about himself in all honesty & His Managerial record is getting worse by the game, Back yourself Dunny before its too late, You have a great bod backing you, You have a decent team screaming for Leadership & Direction, You have a cushy number here compared to a lot of Managers in the game, Bring your mate big Sam onto the training pitch all week just for something a bit different & to provide some badly needed inspiration to the group until we get this monkey off our back.

Too many nothing players, sideways, sideways, sideways some more. We don't move the ball anywhere near quickly enough.

We should have been on the front foot second half, really having a go at them and controlling the game. But we don't have anybody capable of grabbing hold of a game by the scruff of the neck.

How many players do we have who actually get you excited when they get the ball? In today's team, Kay aside there's none who may me think "something might happen here".

Very slow in possession once again, poor poor stuff.

Exactly. Last season the ball was played around between the goalkeeper and the 3 central defenders but once it was moved into midfield we went forward very quickly. This season, when it's gone into midfield it's normally played sideways or backwards very slowly. In the second half today there were at least 2 suicidal passes from defenders into a midfield player who was facing his own goal and with an Orient player almost standing on him!

Dunn now saying it's a big gap between L2 and the National League, [SwearFilter] it is. Look at how most promoted sides do.

Also now making usual "Barrow excuses" about not being able to get players in. Starting to sound a bit lost already.

I find a sense of irony there as our best players are the ones who played in the national league and the players he's brought in are all from (apart from james jones) are from league's 1 and 2 !

The difference is that James Jones is a young player with pace who is on an upward path as Zouma could be. Sadly, most of the players who have been brought in are older players who are old, slow and on the way down the football spiral. However, it may be that it is just that these are the only type of players we can now afford. I would much rather have seen efforts to recruit more of the James Jones type from the National League or NL North where there are many good young players on an upward path and who should be affordable.

Quite a few of the other signings appear to fit the 'slow' description (Beadling, Biggins, Gribbin, James).

Look at the match stats today. 22 shots and only 6 on target says it all.

That is not the Manager that is the players. finishing was the problem today. He will be as frustrated as the rest of us and rightly so.
