We deserve to be where we are but we should have beat Stevenage and won today.

I'm not interested in his career before he came to Barrow. I saw him enough times with my own eyes. He was absolutely brilliant last season.

Sometimes a club, Manager is a good fit for a player. That was the case with Rooney at Barrow under Evatt. It may be the best season he has. Look at Asa Hall (first player who came into my head) as another example. Never impressed for us, player of the season at Torquay the following season. Anyway, no point in arguing over it.

We missed out today from not being clinical enough in front of goal. That is the area that needs to be addressed the most. Positives today- Zouma. He looks a good player technically and won his battles on the right side of defence and can bring the ball forward..

When everyone is fully fit our first choice 11 is more than good enough for this league on what we’ve seen from opposition teams so far imho; whether it’s a change in formation or whether it’s a case of praying that Platt and Quigley are back fit soon (and stay fit) I don’t know but something needs to change
Keep thinking Gribben could be the creativity we have missed so far in theory........

Some massive over reactions from folk. Only 5 games in without key players, out of form & still competing. Expectations should be to stay up & progression each season.

Absolutely correct. I’ve said it before but too many people got carried away with predictions for this season, it was NEVER going to be easy. Waiting for 48 years to get back into the EFL and thinking we could challenge for play-offs was utter madness.
Stay up and build on that, that had to be the sensible aim surely.

I for one would be happy with staying up, however there is no hiding from the fact, we carry on as we are that is nowhere guaranteed especially with our doom and gloom merchant manager

Played okay against Stevenage. Hird with daft challenge penalty 1-1
1-1 with Colchester. We played well. We were the better team. Lots of chances
1-1 with Orient. Played very poor but should of won with the visitors on 10 men for 80 minutes

Mistakes are happening far too often to be considered one off events. Other than the Colchester game, we’ve not been good enough in any of our league games to win.

In a nutshell, we are getting punished every time we make a mistake, and are not making enough of the few chances we create - Kays header today goes in everything is different.
I have yet to see a side that much better, but they have been more clinical. The sooner we get Platt back in and Quigley and potentially Richardson, the better - no excuses then.

Not on the Dunn bandwagon however manager cant be made responsible for individual errors...

Point of the day is we are all very frustrated, its only going to harder as the season goes on..... we've had a pre season and 5 competitive games with multiple mistakes leading to goals.....we are all rightly [SwearFilter] off, and so we should be, totally different team to last season, time to cut it out or cut loose and the system of play we are trying.
