Can Anybody Name These Players?

Here's a photo of the Barrow A Team from 1960-61. It's Brian Arrowsmith of course, back row 4th from right, with thumbs up. To the left of him, as we look, I reckon it's Mike Heyes. Could that be Mike Wearmouth on the right of the front row??? As it's the A team they are probably all locals and maybe some of them are still in this area? Has anybody got any details?

Maybe Kevin Morrell next to Mike Heys? Also Bobby Corkhill far right?

Yes. That's who they look like to me.

The lad standing next to Bobby Corkhill is Ray Buchanan.

Definitely Mike Heys and Mike Wearmouth.

Back left Jimmy Wright? Front left looks a bit like Charlie(chukka) Wilson, goalkeeper, but don’t know if he ever played for Barrow. Middle front holding shield-Danny Mulholland?

Good link, thanks - but the photo is of Barrow's 'A' team (ie the third team) so listed players unlikely to play below the Reserves team.

Other names that I have remembered that may be from that period are Alan Lappin, Jim Slowey and Maurice Kendall. Unfortunately I'm not sure what the first two look like.

Not Alan Lappin. He was at the club in 1967 with his brother Roger when Appleton was manager. He still attended Holker St last season.
