Question regarding viewing figures
Re: Question regarding viewing figures
For those that want to know about Gregg’s sausage rolls 6 million a month estimated. Not sure Freya helps in any way and that’s a pie in the sky figure!

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
Thanks Barrowaberdeen for the figures when you see how low they are, it makes you appreciate the size of the task the Board faces in keeping the club solvent during these challenging times.
Do you by any chance have the numbers for the EFL Trophy games ?

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
Well you are all doing that, those who were able (not everyone was and that's fine) to keep their ST in . Ifollow it's better than nothing, which was what we might be getting. Raffle etc means 'our' 10% is there when the club needs to draw it down. Merch is a help.
In a better position than many because of a low cost base ( we really have less paid staff than pretty much everyone) and careful budgeting. But PH tells you all that- the figures etc. Not so many do that.
We just need to 'keep the heid'

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
Yes, Barrow will earn £8 from every sale on their website and £8 from the first 500 sales on Boltons site and sales over the 500 go to Bolton themselves.saltcellar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 7:31 pmIs that the first 500 of away (Bolton) fans Steve, then do Barrow get all the money from their own fans?barrowaberdeen wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 6:27 pm We get the first 500 Bolton. They get the rest.
Genuine question here. Why does this info matter.

We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
whilst the 500 figure is obviously of limited help to Barrow remember that had fans been allowed in to games the number of away fans we would have allowed in wouldn't have been much more than that. Say for example the ground capacity is 6400 - the regulations are that we have to allow 2000 away fans or 10% of the capacity if 10% is less than 2000 - so we would only have allowed 640 away fans in anyway.
say for Example Bolton sold 1500 passes - we get 500 and they get the rest - we only lose out a maximum 140 (640-500).
The Colchester game on the other hand we also got 500 - but had fans been allowed in there would have been 200-300 Colchester fans in the ground so we gained from it numbers wise.
so yes the away teams with big followings are gaining -but we are not losing out.

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
But we would have had 3000-4000 home fans to make revenue from
My point is why should an away club make more money from a game that’s being broadcast from your ground - the iFollow idea is good in principle but the home club should be retaining the most of the revenue

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
Do you honestly think Bolton would have been restricted to about 640?chipmunx wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 6:48 am whilst the 500 figure is obviously of limited help to Barrow remember that had fans been allowed in to games the number of away fans we would have allowed in wouldn't have been much more than that. That leaves room for 5760 Barrow fans.
We would get nowhere near that figure based on our first 6 results this season, so Bolton would have been allowed a much bigger number.
Also there is a big difference in £8 for ifollow and the full price of ground admission.
The club are losing thousands.

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
Thanks for the figures.barrowaberdeen wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 8:38 pm OK, here goes. I'm always happy to give out info if it's reasonable...apologies for the delay.
Stevenage at Home 632 ST Codes and 344 Home- 367 Away so we get 711= £7110 gross
Newport Away we had 384 watching away so that goes to them= 0
Colchester at Home 738 ST Codes and 238 Home- 500 Away fans so we get 738= £7380
Carlisle Away we had an away support of 698 of which we get 198. Carlisle had, I think 931 = £1980
Harrogate I did see somewhere but can't find the e-mail. It was in the 300s I think so in terms of finance = £0
So tomorrow we probably will have our biggest 'gate' of the season.
Hope this helps.

Re: Question regarding viewing figures
To be honest yes i do - if this was a normal season with crowds in that fixture would have been close to being a sell out weeks before the match particularly because of Evatt being there.saltcellar wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 10:05 amDo you honestly think Bolton would have been restricted to about 640?chipmunx wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 6:48 am whilst the 500 figure is obviously of limited help to Barrow remember that had fans been allowed in to games the number of away fans we would have allowed in wouldn't have been much more than that. Re: Question regarding viewing figures
The away capacity is whatever it is cerified to hold in corner of the terrace plus, 100 seats. Its not about capacity it's about crowd management and segregation, turnstiles, toilets.saltcellar wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 10:05 amDo you honestly think Bolton would have been restricted to about 640?chipmunx wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 6:48 am whilst the 500 figure is obviously of limited help to Barrow remember that had fans been allowed in to games the number of away fans we would have allowed in wouldn't have been much more than that.
