Jason Taylor's made q difference although runs out of legs at he end. Soft penalty given away. Thought we played ok and think we'll find our win soon. Lots of positives today. What the heck was Kay thinking though.

Some good performances and some customary moments of madness. Need to ensure players refrain from making stupid challenges that give away needless free-kicks in dangerous areas. Dunn should be drilling this into them - stay on your feet.

Barry played well again. Kay played badly again. I wouldn't criticise Biggins despite his early miss as I thought he looked the brightest of the midfield and played some intelligent passes. Angus may be the worst at holding the ball up that I have ever seen - James looked like a prime van Nistelrooy in comparison.

On to Mansfield. Come on DD I'm rooting for you but guide us to a win soon FFS.

Just look at the final table when the season finishes, months of stress free life.

Agreed, Nige. I'm glad I live on a hill. If I lived by a cliff I might have gone for a walk after Tuesday night's match. Like you, I can feel a bit more positivity after today even though it was very frustrating still.

Although it's still a sickener to be pegged back twice, especially when the second was down to the continuing immaturity of the often excellent Josh Kay, there was a lot more in there today to offer us hope. The possession stats against Bolton backed up what the pictures were telling us – that we were getting overrun in the middle of the park. But likewise today the possession stats again reflected what we could see, that we did much better. As you say, we need the strength up front that a strong striker like Quigley brings. Pleased for Luke James; yes, he gave the ball away in the lead-up to their first goal but generally he played well and was always busy and involved whenever the ball was up that end of the pitch. On the contrary, we see nothing like enough of Angus but, as we all know, he shapes up better when Quigley is playing.

And as Jonty insinuates, there's something about watching it on a screen than actually being there that makes it torture to watch. Less easy to let off steam I suppose, I hate it!

This is a great point. Our set pieces have been diabolical all season, we've not even looked like scoring from any of them. We have some big lads in the squad who are good in the air, we should really carry much more of a threat. They should get to work on the training ground, it's the sort of thing that could easily turn these draws into wins.

Jones - good performance
Brough - few errors going forward but ok
Platt - one bad error but didn't lead to a goal (our best defender)
Hird - not convinced and almost cost us another goal - not sure why he was captain tbh
Kay - spells of greatness in attack but defence looks awful
J.Taylor - spells ok but made few bad decisions esp penalty
M.Jones - very quiet today
Biggins - doesn't look like scoring, few good things but hes just not convincing me he should start
Barry - good in attack but pass back king !
Angus - great at penalties, good runs but never wins headers, easily pushed off the ball
James - probably best game, cost us the 1st equaliser with a poor clearance bust good goal for him and runs his socks off.
Brown for Kay ? Wtf is that all about, surely we could put someone else there ? C.Tylor did ok but came on pitch way to late but should have scored in last minute. No idea why Gribbin not getting a game??? Anyone ? Played great against Leeds and is attacking threat but doesn't seem to get on the pitch. We played better thsn some of the games previously but errors are costing us.

is the 1st Jones meant to be Dixon?
Kay looked like he'd picked up an injury and/or was taken off as a precaution against making it worse.
Biggins looked a bit better today - but if Hardcastle still isn't fit on Tuesday i might play Gribben instead of Biggins at Mansfield.

Disappointing result in the end but I’m feeling a bit more positive this last week or so, since the Carlisle game anyway.

From what I’ve seen we aren’t a million miles away it’s discipline and stupid fouls That are costing us deeply. If we just cut out silly free kicks in the final third we will win games.

Hird I thought did well but he is a walking goal. Platt brough Dixon and solid and steady. Taylor thought played well again without doing anything exceptional.

Biggins I think has potential definitely has a decent right foot. Just needs to click for him.

James excellent best game for us.

Not much to fear in this league. My worry is we’ve drawn three games we should have won. That’s 6 points we might struggle to find later in the season. Especially as our away games will build up.

We won’t go down. But it will be close enough

I didn't bother with iFollow today either, not too fussed given the club has my season ticket money. Remarkably I'm a lot less [SwearFilter] off than I felt on Tuesday night.

Thought they played well today, some good build up play. Bit hit and miss at the back but with key players sidelined all over the park what do you expect. Things are improving. Lots of glass half empty people on this forum.
