Re: Vs Mansfield
With the suspensions, I'm pretty sure that league and cup bookings are kept separate now. It didn't used to be the case but it changed last year.
So it'll be 5 bookings for a 1 game league ban, 10 bookings for a 2 game league ban etc.
I think for the cups it's 2 bookings for a 1 game ban - not sure if this is specific to each cup or whether it counts across them all.

Re: Vs Mansfield
Derby game in the League Cup is tied to the League.
Blackpool and Leeds games fin the League Trophy are not tied to to the League, IIRC.

Re: Vs Mansfield
From the latest player handbook.
Looks like suspensions only count for the specific competition where the yellow cards were picked up in. Which is good news.

Re: Vs Mansfield
I thought Plattys booking was ridiculous. Both players committed to a 50/50 ball. Platt got to the ball first and somehow got booked.
Out of interest, does anyone know what the ref spent a good minute chatting to the 4th official about near the end?

We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you
Re: Vs Mansfield
All well worked goals and showing how well we can pass and build up the move, but also go more direct when there’s chance to do that. The first goal, Dixon getting it away up to James was a great bit of vision and something they've clearly worked on. It totally caught Mansfield out and with Barry getting right up the pitch shows a different side to our game under Dunn. Watch how Jason Taylor applauds Dixon in the celebration, it was his great ball out to James that got that goal underway. All good goals, but that one was particularly pleasing. Direct play like that can really open teams up.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Re: Vs Mansfield
Testimony to Barrow's excellent passing game last night were the 3rd and 4th goals.
Josh Kay scored following 20 passes, while Harrison Biggins finished off a 13 passing move.

Re: Vs Mansfield
The part Luke James played in the 3rd goal with the dummy and spin that took 2 Mansfield players out of the game was brilliant. Their number 32 (Lapslie) was still near half way looking for James when Kay scored.saltcellar wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 10:34 pm Testimony to Barrow's excellent passing game last night were the 3rd and 4th goals.

A quick check on my phone at 8am Thursday shows the match replay working for me, Paul.
Seems like you are suffering from the 'iFollow Lottery' again.

Re: Vs Mansfield
I had no problem watching the entire match again last night on Ifollow.
Nice relaxing watching it knowing we had won it.
Not nervously like the night before.

Re: Vs Mansfield
Do you subscribe to any of the iFollow packages? If not, its just a guess but maybe extended highlights and full match replay are only available to paying subscribers with short highlights for basic pass holders. If you are a subscriber then I don't know. I've just tried and the extended highlights were fine.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: Vs Mansfield
I've only got a free account and just subscribe to matches individually and all the highlights seem to work fine for me. Ifollow seems like a real lottery. Thankfully I haven't had any problems (yet)MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 11:42 amDo you subscribe to any of the iFollow packages?
