Sunday Paper

Post by mickycarrol » Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:23 am

I was an avid non league paper purchaser in our non league days (feels good typing such a statement) what’s best to buy on a Sunday to catch the best write ups on our games now? Does a EFL paper exist Ive not seen one? If so who stocks them? Thanks

Ah thanks A.B, can I buy a hard copy in newsagents do you know? I’m old fashioned and like the physical paper to hand.....

Understood. I think you're likely to find them in some newsagents (probably the likes of WH Smiths, too), but it may depend where you live.

I know in my local newsagents you can request specific papers, should you wish to be a weekly reader.

If the newsagents don’t do it then it is done by the same people who do the non league paper so you can do a subscription through the website and have it sent to you by mail

Our local newsagent used to have the NLP on the shelves Sunday and Monday, but as has been said you’d be best to order the league paper and have it delivered or pick it up.

Most of the superstores stock it, too (as with NLP).

its called the fl paper and its a sister paper to the non leaguer , obviously it pays more attention to the championship , same as non leaguer paid more attention to the national league as opposed to national league north etc . if you live on walney , early news in liverpool st stock it. its a good read

And this is how it began its report on last Tuesdays game.........
Graham Coughlan’s tenure at Mansfield Town is over after he was sacked by the club’s owner.

A 4-1 drubbing to Barrow proved to be the final straw for the former Bristol Rovers manager, who had failed to see his side record a victory nine matches into the League Two campaign.

To be fair a report on our own website straight after the game said we had won 4-1
