Do we not get a bye?

Seriously, most disappointing. Was looking forward to watching the game on iFollow.

These sort of postponements could lead to a massive build up of games....they’ll need to think this through.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

If this is a regular occurrence during the winter, what options would the authorities have?they would barely be able to extend the season, so the only other option would be to scrap it

Barrow should get a bye. Kings Lynn got a bye in the FA cup when Notts County could not fulfill their tie because of Covid

They changed the rules from round one proper to allow for a rearranged game in the event of postponements

How many is "a number"? How many and what connection to the first team before a game is postponed? Why didn't our squad have to isolate when Josh Kay was diagnosed (or the manager)?

Great points I’d be interested to know....

On the plus side another week to get some off our injury list.

When Notts County pulled out of the 4th qualifying round their opponents were given a Bye, that would sort out any backlog if they did it with any club pulling out.

That was the rule which was in place for the qualifying rounds - the rule was changed from the first round onwards
