So let me get this right
People are complaining about the “lack of coverage” from a radio station that brings full uninterrupted commentary of every game home and away for a club that you all think isn’t in their county so perhaps they shouldn’t?

Even as a Red Rose leaning Barrovian I would still concede that we are better off with Radio Cumbria/Carlisle/sheepdip, Barrow gets excellent coverage with RC whereas with BBC Lancs we’d be the 9th ( they already have 8 ) club, so along the lines of the Kendal Town in terms on RC, with a seemingly half cut guy the on phone reporting on air a couple of times on a Saturday.

I do think that a Morecambe Bay UA would be the way forward administratively, with Barrow returning to Lancashire for ceremonial purposes. Cumbria will always be ‘them’ and Lancs will always be ‘we’.

We should enjoy the fact that every time there is a sports show we are one of the forefront topics whereas in other counties we'd be nothing but an afterthought.

I doubt any other county provides as much coverage to local sides as far down the pyramid as Kendal.

Nailed it with that post. Many of the younger supporters won't remember those days. We are we'll and truly spoilt in todays world with the coverage we get on the airwaves compared to those days.

Getting all sentimental for a county is pathetic. If you haven't got a pot to p!ss in your the same as the person in the next county that hasn't got a pot to p!ss in.
