Doesn't matter what you're doing - sport or not - if you are travelling from level 3 to level 1 or 2 you have to abide by the rules of level 3.

Well PerthBluebird obviously isn't IF he's really talking about coming from a tier 3 area - people in tier 3 areas are bound by the rules in them even if they go to lower tiers - which as he already knows means he isn't allowed to attend matches anywhere at present....

Perhaps the club might keep season tickets of those living in tier 3 until they are allowed to attend. It would be a fair and reasonable for the club to do this IMO to ensure they are taking all reasonable measures to ensure compliance with covid rules.

That seems fair enough. It's not up to the club to police people's behaviour with regard to travel restrictions.

Its not about travel restrictions its about attending an organised event in this case a football match Surely its up to the club to take all reasonable precautions to ensure those attending abide by the rules. One precaution could be to only post season tickets out to those currently in tier 1,2. If it transpired that some from tier 3 have attended the club could be culpable of negligence.

I suspect as usual PerthBluebird is on a wind up but it is a valid point; should the clubs (not just us, in general) have to check where people are coming from before allowing entry
