can't agree. Salford the better side today
Yes Salford the better side. But Barrow had the better chances and more of them.

How come the crowd was so low ? thought we sold roughly 1100 season tickets.

We didn’t play wing backs yesterday, it was a flat back 4 so it was understandable the full backs couldn’t get forward as much. The problem then was neither James nor Kay are the type of winger that will hug the touch line for 90 minutes to try and beat their man and whip a cross in. Kay did a few times but James was almost just more of a second right back for most of the game
I see. Looked a bit disjointed at times and we present more of a threat when Barry and Brough are in the line-up. We seemed to spend a lot of time watching Salford knock the ball about and when we did break out we fluffed our lines. We are mis-firing badly at the moment but we are not a 'bad' side.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

I believe over 100 cancellations, difficult financial time for many. Some working some can’t attend due to restrictions and others don’t deem it safe enough to congregate as yet!

Also pensioners not wanting to put themselves at risk. Also fans in Tier 3 didn't travel. I know people in both category's that didn't attend yesterday but watched it on IFollow

To add.......we also need to decide who is on free kicks outside the box. We had two yesterday none of which C Taylor took. He scored one against Bolton and looks to have since been taken off them?

The two yesterday were absolutely terrible straight into the wall. We should know in all areas of the park who is taken set pieces and where people should be and what space they are attacking or do we not do these things in training?

Looked like it was a case of whoever grabbed the ball first yesterday got a chance.....schoolboy again!!!

Watched bits of the game due to constant buffering because of poor internet where I was. Watched the highlights twice now score could of been 5-3 on another day!
Look at how frustrated people are on here do we not think the players are going through the same frustrations! Whether David Dunn is going to make it as a Barrow manager or not Is ultimately not our call it’s for our board to decide when enough is enough there seems to be many things conspiring against him though. We all say luck balances out but does it in reality, as it seems to be on an extended vacation where Barrow AFC is concerned! We are playing some decent football in patches but consistency is lacking as is our plan b at times!
But ultimately the consequences of not surviving in this league could be drastic and that’s my biggest concern long term!

Absolutely. There were two instances that beggared belief yesterday. Firstly, Biggins was brought on when we had a free kick and straight away took it and fired it straight into the wall. Ridiculous that his first feel of the ball was to take a free kick in such a great position, especially with Chris Taylor on the pitch.

Secondly, with a few minutes left Kay was fouled out wide and spent a couple of minutes on the deck (presumably injured, though I'm not convinced as to how bad it was). He then got up, limped over and took the free kick. It was wasted, didn't beat the first man and Salford broke and should've scored. They probably would've done had the ball not bobbled just before it reached their player.

In general, Kay isn't a great striker of a dead ball anyway so why he takes so many I have no idea. His corners are very straight and flat and difficult to make anything of, even on the odd occasion that they do clear the near post.

That’s because you haven’t watched Peterborough, Bradford, Forest Green, Bristol Rovers, Hartlepool where he played as a right sided midfielder
I couldn't work out where he was supposed to be. He was right back to the player who scored the goal. Brown in the 6 yard area. He soon moved after the goal.

Dunn has to go personally, we would never accept this kind of form from anyone else and it’s not going to change. We have now put ourselves into a relegation battle on the run up to Christmas. Needs to change fast so the new man can make moves in January , starting by getting rid of Biggins & Brown

Most people seem to agree that putting the ball in the net is the biggest concern this season. So one question that should be asked by our SLO is what happened to Dmitri Sea, who was brought in as a young striker and is not used, why not if Quigley or Angus fail to score on a regular basis. No harm in giving the lad a start.

I don't think that's the job of the SLO.

I’m not sure the role of the SLO is to contact the manager and ask why he’s not selecting certain players

I got asked a few times yesterday about not having programmes as did the other seller I mentioned it to levi who was worried about handling money i came up with the idea of a bucket and only have correct amount we check it b4 they put it in we wear gloves and mask and pass them the programme at a 1metre length he thought it was a good idea
