totally agree Andy it's just finding that person, I also think the players need to be reminded that they are in a job well paid when some poor sods are worried sick about how they are going to pay their bills etc!andyg wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 11:28 pm I want us to appoint a manager who believes in the club not just the team. A manager who makes the players and supporters buy into his way of his thinking (I don't think there are any female managers out there at the present time). A manager who states we are good enough to be in the EFL and not just happy to be here because we are little old Barrow punching above our weight because we are aoutpost of football etc etc. Do those qualities sound familiar? I'm not just talking Evatt here I'm also talking Wilkie, Appleton, McEvoy (first time round). That's the type of person I want here. That's the only way we are going to stay in this league. I think we haven't left it too late as we did when we appointed McEvoy for the second time but I'm not 100% sure about that!
feel sorry for our board they're probably been too trusting and are learning the hard way it's just unfortunate we've been caught in a "perfect storm " late decision on promotion, Evatt leaving, hardly any time to prepare, trying to improve the ground, pandemic the whole scenario is quite incredible but I hope we pull it around at the moment i can't see it but football is one sport that's so unpredictable at least on Saturday we can try to help the board and players get through this ,surely we're all due a break!
