Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
Honestly thought we'd improve after DD went and the ending to last nights game sums us up perfectly! We are the only team in EFL2 that haven't got a point in the last 5 games so that shows you how bad we are. We haven't won a match for over 10 games now. We've lost 8 games by only 1 goal and 6 of the games we have drawn we were leading. Something needs to give soon but Cheltenham are a great side - yes they lost last night to Bolton but that means nothing. If Kelly or a new manager doesn't get the team selection right then we could get thumped !

I think this game will be our darkest hour, before the dawn.

I wouldn't be surprised if we won

Do we have to wear masks in the ground?

Club are quoting in the website article about tickets that masks have to be worn now at all times in the ground. Probably to do with the extra 400 capacity.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 5:42 pmYes when you're moving about

I'm pretty sure that has changed to, we have to wear at all times now. Unless you are actually eating or drinking something.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 5:42 pmYes when you're moving about

Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
the wearing of masks at all times is total bullshit there's nothing medical to support this decision they definitely don't protect you and have minimal effect on you spreading it so you have to be 2 metres apart, the masks are just someone trying to go with the flow it's a joke!
Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
No matter what you believe, if that's the regulations the club have to abide by to have fans inside Holker St, we'll have to comply or we risk being "locked out" again.blue nige wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 6:53 pm the wearing of masks at all times is total bullshit there's nothing medical to support this decision they definitely don't protect you and have minimal effect on you spreading it so you have to be 2 metres apart, the masks are just someone trying to go with the flow it's a joke!
In my eyes, it's a small price to pay (even tho the football is hard to watch at the moment).

if they were the regulations then why weren't they in force last match?Paul wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:33 pmNo matter what you believe, if that's the regulations the club have to abide by to have fans inside Holker St, we'll have to comply or we risk being "locked out" again.blue nige wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 6:53 pm the wearing of masks at all times is total bullshit there's nothing medical to support this decision they definitely don't protect you and have minimal effect on you spreading it so you have to be 2 metres apart, the masks are just someone trying to go with the flow it's a joke!

Tests have shown that shouting and cheering at football matches can spread the virus. If the club condone it they could be on the end of a few lawsuits.blue nige wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 6:53 pm the wearing of masks at all times is total bullshit there's nothing medical to support this decision they definitely don't protect you and have minimal effect on you spreading it so you have to be 2 metres apart, the masks are just someone trying to go with the flow it's a joke!

Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
absolute rubbish how would it be a lawsuit when wearing a mask is only a guideline ?(also what tests?I've not seen anything to back this up it's based on scientific assumptions nothing else!)look on the elite sport guidance and as I previously stated why wasn't this done at our last home game?bluessupporter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:47 pmTests have shown that shouting and cheering at football matches can spread the virus. don't get me wrong I'm just as worried as the next person about the virus but masks create a false sense of security i.e. people stop social distancing( I actually pointedthis out at workand they changedthe guidelines),and as I said unless they are of medically protected standard they are of little use and if the virus is on the mask people are constantly touching them which again would spread the virus, there hope that clears everything up

Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
I didn’t realise it had changed but if it’s correct it has done so presumably it’s because people won’t be as spread out next game?
