Same here i will be giving it a miss wearing a mask outside is ridiculous, that's supposed to be why only 1400 are allowed in so we can social distance.

It’s to comply with guidelines as daft as some are if it gets more people into the ground as safe as possible I’m all for it!
If you let the club know your not going then maybe someone else can go in your place if informed soon enough! Season of giving after all 😌

https://www.barrowafc.com/tickets/return-of-fans/

We are simply going off what we were asked to do to support the return of more fans. The guidance was altered by the EFL soon after we announced our arrangements. We got quite a few more in than some other Tier 2 clubs because of the planning. It's a difficult stadium in some senses to configure at present because of the conditions we are being asked to operate under, due to the amount of terracing.

All I can say is we are doing our best, with the hand we have been dealt. As is every club in the league really.

I have no issue with the arrangements the club are having to implement but it just isn't suitable for me. I couldn't wear a mask for two hours.
The fogging up of the glasses nearly got me run over.

"Might give us a chance to get rid of Kelly and get in a decent manager before it’s played!".
As it appens I was thinkin the same and, the floodlights were on when I last looked out about fifteen minutes ago. Working on the pitch I guess.
I would be very concerned if we did have someone in place by Saturdays game. For me it would show we hadn’t done our due diligence and explored all avenues available. More haste less speed on this one me thinks!
Score 2-2 and thankful for the point!

Yeah, I agree with you there McMark.
What I was meaning was that Kelly is about as inspiring as a wet lettuce.
Due diligence IS the way-take enough time and get it right.

Lots will expect us to be in the bottom two after this game.
I do no like using a mask as I have spectacles and they steam up.
The club are doing their best and as a gereatric will take the risk.
Some are whingeing ,its a very English thing.
Let's be very honest as a supporter you follow in the bad times not just the good times.
The club will benefit financially and on the pitch hopefully with the bigger crowd
You heard what Kelly said about the Board when he said he would not apply for the job ,THEY ARE DECENT PEOPlE.
I am guessing that when Dunn went he asked for Kelly to stay as he came here from Germany and the Board agreed as he needs to get another job, they are DECENT PEOPLE.I think he will go once the new man is here, much preffered a couple of the older players to take charge but they have their reasons.
Some people on here have short memories about previous Board Members and Chairman .

I don't know and I am sure you don't know either how inspirational Kelly is to the players.
Are you there when they train or for the team talks?
If not, you are simply guessing.
He has been in charge of clubs far bigger than what Barrow are.

Yes my glasses steam up. Do you think I am going to sit for 90 mins and not see anything?. Behave and stop passing judgement on everyone and everything.

Just an idea (I’ve had the same problem) but tried it before, using the surgical face protection with the wire that bends around the shape of the nose, I put my glasses on and it didn’t steam up. Misses works in the hospital so have some fresh ones if needed

Thanks for the tips guys but I have a special coating on my lenses so don't know if it would affect it using products----although spit might work.😂

It is true, divers do expectorate into and wipe in their goggles. Works a treat, :D

Maybe if we insist the Cheltenham team wear masks at all times, might give us a better chance.
