New manager - Who do you want?

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

I know he said he wasn't in for the job but Kelly did a great job today. Very motivational from the sideline. One thing that stuck with me he was spurring Connor brown on saying can't be beat repeatedly. Everyone had that extra % today.

Aye well done to Rob Kelly after getting some stick midweek.

Michael Jolley is an interesting one - not sure what to make of it.

Just as you don't sack a manager after a couple of defeats, you don't hire one after a couple of wins either.

Keep Kelly on board if he is willing to work with the new man - and the new man is willing to work with him.

Kelly's career has really been as a No 2 as well as being a caretaker manager. Id love to see him stay in some capacity as he doe bring that desperately needed experience. The key is will the new manager work with him?

Kelly comes across as a lovely bloke - I hope he still has a role to play under the new manager.

David Flitcroft. Took Bury from League 2 relegation zone to promotion in a season and a half.

Betting sites that put someone as ‘favourite’ are only after your money.

One yesterday had Ady Pennock as evens favourite despite Paul Hornby saying on RC earlier in the week that he had no chance.

Hornby also said that the new man must have had experience of managing in EFL2, so talk of people managing a girls team in Scotland could be a little bit wide of the mark, unless Hornby and the board have changed the criteria.

Any prospective new manager in the ground yesterday would be happy with the performance on and off the field yesterday. Showed that no-one at Barrow is going to just roll over and accept relegation

Hornby didn’t have a lot of good to say about him on RC. No way will he be back.
